@@ninyaninjabrifsanovichthes45 More than that , he destroyed Russia as a superpower and under him the living standards were awful, the economy was possibly worse than awful and Russia had lost its entire sphere of influence by 1995 or so. Also, he's one of the reasons neo-fascism is on the rise in Eastern Europe. I honesty think that Russia going forward should distance herself as far as possible from his era.
@@bumb.wingman Yeah, I see a lot of people hate Gorby, yes he was somewhat incompetent in saving the state but he did try to modernize the system and make it more free while retaining core beliefs. If Gorby was successful the USSR would look pretty much like the PRC today and far more democratic.
