I feel sorry for all the people that will never hear this amazing song because the radio airs so much rubbish nowadays.
So so very true
Heard this song for the first time today on Pandora and have been a life long OMD fan and saw them live in the 80s. I love this song! OMD never fails to impress me 30 years later…
I only found it here, and only by searching OMD.
@@kurtissjacobs5618 and aren’t you glad you did?!
So true , I keep posting on my fb so good memory's to this song
I want to jump into a time capsule and head back to the 80's. WHO'S WITH ME?????😎😎😎😎
OMD may be the most underappreciated band of all time in any genre.
Sparks also.
this record reminds me as my daughter was in the last hours of her life as cancer final took her at 25 years old a peace of my heart died to miss you katie xxx
My sympathies to you on the loss of your daughter...please forgive the cliche, but no parent should ever have to bury their child
Another brilliant song by one of the greatest bands of ALL TIME. Love that they haven't changed who they are. They remain pure.
Agree 100%
Truly amazing that Andy has lost nothing on his voice. It still sounds as if he is in his 20s! After all these years, OMD is bigger and better than ever!!
And he still has some gems to come with some serious pipes.
I really love Andy's voice !! 😃
Coincidentally the backing to this reminds me of ‘Too Pieces’ by Yazoo... who also had a big song called Don’t Go back in 81/82
One of the best bands around. Brilliant
No airplay on any radio station - its truly a shame. This is a real masterpiece. What happened to our world? :*-(
Its been taken over by woke morons...Actually pretty close to a zombie invasion
We don't need no stinking radio
It is happen all the time with many groups everywhere
Totally agree, mate. OMD are genius. Been a fan 40+yrs. Just fkn brilliant!
I heard it on Steve Wrights show on BBC Radio 2 a couple of times but yeah, it deserves a bigger audience. I'm 57 and my daughter is 22 and she loves this track so there are some youngsters who know good music when they hear it.
Don't Go... We can't get enough of this song
Unfortuately I am now 68 but have loved OMD since Red Flame White Light. Great song and I cannot remember being disappointed ever since with regards to all their songs. Long live OMD!!!!!
I am 68 in October and have also been with the boys since red frame.
You are only this and young.
Just turned 66 myself, I've loved OMD since their early days as well. Great to have them producing fine music like this. One more to add to their brilliant catalog.
Hi! Also Stephen Mallinder and Neil Tennant are 68. That must have been a great year crowded with beautiful people like you! What a nice thing you wrote! 🙂
Europa endlos- Kraftwerk reference.
Brilliant
Such a freaking cool song. After all these years, the band has not lost its magic synth pop touch!
Tell me what guys after 40+ years in the music industry and in their 60's can pump out gems like this? OMD are fucking musical legends!
Yes. OMD's recent records are as good as their classic stuff. Their 80s peers (Human League, Numan, even Depeche) just aren't delivering in that way.
@@jpalvarez4972 Totally agree!
2021 and still no love button!
I saw them yesterday in Brooklyn, one of the best concerts of my life
PUMP
I'm shaming myself for not liking OMD when I was a teenager. They are so good. Almost every song they wrote is a small jewel. I'm obsessed with "Messages" and "So In Love".
Messages was the song that got me into OMD nearly 43 years. Still my favourite band even after all this time
Finally! Welcome to the party.
@@bicyclist2
Spoken like a true die hard !!! 👌
I played the hell out of Messages and then discovered there are slightly different versions! Those earliest albums had the greatest tonal qualities.
I always appreciate their art even at my teenager period in two decades before the 21st century.
Best band ever
This song is really deep, dark & its a masterpiece.
Absolutely
Put it this way, if it was released in 1984 people would still be talking about it, that's how good it is. Society has changed, but that's another story...
This is a little gem this one
After 40 years and still sounding amazing and very little change, love OMD
So in love with OMD awesome music!!!!
Amazing, I am 50 now and still love omd,
I'm 56, and feel like I'm 18 again when I listen to their music. Such amazing performers to see live.
Hey, I’m 61 & I still dance to their music. 😀 ( I’ve still got Andy’s moves)😂👍
Sorry to play the agest game, but I'm 65 and still love OMD.
Violator Hey! Who’s you ?🤔
52 and omd is in my heart
This Video is a an award winner
It should be.
Proper 80s sounding. I LOVE IT!!!!
Classic OMD.
How great to still bring out this stuff. Music today is garbage. oMd gets it right. No radio play I bet so let’s share.
Paul Humphreys is such a underated muso. His synth scores are still amazing today.
What I love about omd is they haven't changed their style..
So is Kim Wilde's brother, Ricky. Completely unsung, just cos it's not his name on the album and single covers.
@Patricia, yeah, unlike Depeche Mode.
OMD doing great!
I just listened to Dazzle Ships for the first time yesterday. Mind blown!
@@axelmcleod8427 What? Wow, you're a lucky man! :) And you didn't know any songs on it before? So, e.g. Telegraph or Genetic Engineering?
@@MrRoztoc Well I knew Telegraph and have always loved it but never owned a full album and we all know you don't know any band like that. I've been hedging on OMD for so many years I can't even count. Yes. I feel lucky. 13 more albums to discover! Architecture & Morality is next!
I grew up Metalhead in the 80s! We weren't allowed to like this music. Lol
Masterpiece.
These modern OMD videos must cost a fraction of a percent of the old blockbusters - and they're infinitely better for it. That last scene quite heartbreaking.
After all these years still producing brilliant music.... F.. King awesome
Besser als Kraftwerk, OMD sind die Kings of Electropop
Der Vergleich hinkt ein wenig. Kraftwerk haben nie Elektropop gemacht..
Technopop @@kingjulien8699
72yr old still love them
Top man I’m 48 and the same
Nice Job GUYS🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹🎹
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark is one of the best music band ever! Every their songs are so beautiful with a lot of fantasy, energy and only good feelings. OMD since 1979, since their first song Electricity 41 years yet are an unforgettable band for me. One of the best band what I ever heard.
Well said 🙏
Me too really special,
I love this song....it reminds me of 80’s synth pop...
That’s what omd are , like early DM
well, 80ies yes, but also a ton of Kraftwerk
Eternamente agradecido
An amazing song coupled with beautiful imagery..Amazing :)
I've loved OMD since the very early 80's. I had Dazzle Ships, and Sugar Tax on cassette tape, then CD in the 90's. I really expected this song to be a cover of Yazoo's "Don't Go". OMD opened for Depeche Mode at the Pasadena Rose bowl, at the 101 concert. This song sounds very fresh, yet very much recognizable as OMD. I love it. Thank you.
suprise - in 2023 September - this song is on the German itunes charts at 53
Oy! OMD! Stop writing my life after a big break up with a beautiful haunting tune. That's rude.
What a lovely song
the best
Masterwork
Just brilliant
Thank you England and thank you OMD for letting me dream everyday with your astonishing, unparalleled legendary music. What would have the world been without English music and without OMD? Only God knows, but I can tell you that during this unbelievable, unprecedented year, I have been able to review most of my LPs and CDs and OMD still keep their place in the Heaven of the music. Thank you so much Andrew, thank you so much Paul, please one day come to Rome (or do I have to wait for my next life?)
You wrote something really beautiful! Thank you very much for publishing it!!!!!
Energy that these lads have after over 40 years of hits and touring is amazing. Will never get tired of listening or seeing them on tour . Long may it continue
Sang this last night at wolves civic
OMG Better than ever. They just get sweeter with the years.
I love omd they have been with me for 40 odd years
I love this so freaking much. I listen on repeat frequently. I FEEL this song.
So do I. It's infectious.
I can´t stop listening to it, too.
Amazing song fron an amazing band , the never disapoint in the studio or live , seems to me andys voice has aged very well ,how the hell in all my years in listening, watching, reading OMD that they havnt be rewarded with something for their music , still touring {HOW MANY 80S BANDS ARE STILL GOING] would be injustice if the british public would not hand them something for the achievement in music.
The problem os this song, is that it's only 3:30 minutes. We need a extended version quickly !!!!
Zajebiste i na Koncercie w Gdańsku. Mniam m
Love that vision, feeling like 🎉 the new song.
For the life of me I can’t decide if this song is about the loss of one’s wife or that they split up and he regrets it. Either way, it’s an emotional watch!😢
Yes, I get tears every time I watch this video.
What a song! Love OMD ❤️
Great song. Love it.
Absolutely amazing song. Seriously what’s wrong with the radio stations these days. This is proper song by a proper group. The original OMD.
Another gem ❤❤❤
Best band of all time and times to come
TEMAZO!!!...
Super schöner Song ❤
Synthpop perfected. Full stop. This is beautiful and stellar.
Longtime fan and I'm *loving* this new release. This song here has taken over my brain. :)
I had a mention on my newsfeed about great synthpop, and this song was mentioned... I had never heard it...and its fucking brilliant! Saw these guys open for the Thompson Twins back in the day... just awesome! Love love love!
Amazing.
This song has the best "a ha" in it since Abba and knowing me, Knowing you.
Didn't like the song at first, but it grew on me. Now I love it. Love the video too, and not to make light of suffering, but the video does seem like an ad for an antidepressant. Ask your doctor if Omdaxa is right for you.
This vid shows a wise advice for us to pay atention at things that are insignificant for us but a big deal for women... and they do leave us because of them too, not just because of great mistakes we all make.
Amazing! Sounds like 40 years ago - and same fresh!
Andy! perfect songs!:)
WEITER SO...
Tolles Lied!!Geht richtig nach vorn!!Klasse!!!!
Amazing song!
One of the best synth pop song..
Titre sublime.
Boy the video really captures the existential dread we all feel everyday from living in today’s modern world.
OMD Still sounds good after all these years🙂
It’s a giddy pop heartbreaker. Love it! Swelling synths and a killer hook. Great job. Should be on ToTP 😂
Super 🖤
Brilliant song..brilliant band
Great Song. I love it.
Totally sweeeeeeeeeeet. The 80s system of synthesised music has Totally taken you another time and dimension in space. Omd kicks ass
I've been a fan since the early eighties and this song's right up there with some of my all time favorite OMD songs! Well done, Paul and Andy! Love you guys!
SEMPRE FANTASTICI SEMPRE I MIGLIORI NUMBER ONE GRAZIE SIETE MERAVIGLIOSIIIIIIII ❤❤❤❤❤❤
OMD Been a fan since 1982 Maid of Orleans this tune don't go leaving the person you love for somebody else Don't go
This song is AWESOME. Three thumbs up!
What a sad but genuine ending for the video. Like the music, it's brilliant and authentic. ❤ to OMD!
😍🥰🤩 Cudowny utwór
First time I've heard this, what an amazing song
Geiler Song.....
🙌🎶🙌🌻💫Great🙌❤️
This band are just fantastic. Been listening to them since the early days and they are still just as amazing now.
Amazing song from OMD
I love this song
Is the image of the circle and top of the tie forming an engagement ring at 1:58 intentional? I hope so, tells a story. Subtle, sublime video for equally wonderful music.
This song was brilliant when performed live at Bournemouth on Tuesday.
