I admit though that she didnt expect for Ridge to fall in love with Brooke too, perhaps because she knew Brooke better than anyone else and the men didnt see the real Brooke , only the surface (good girl from valley with a great sex appeal too), the one that couldnt care less of the ppl getting hurt in her quest to achieve all of her goals. Caroline is clearly thinking of othe ppl before her which is why she lost precious time.
@@hraslan are you sure... i only see Brooke and Thorne having several chats between them regarding Ridge and Caroline, if they spend time together, if they have still feelings between them. I have never seen Caroline badmouthing Brooke to Ridge and she even refused to work with Stephanie together against Brooke.
Caroline did not even exchange pleasantries with Brooke, she is so insecure, the second sentence out of her mouth is whether she is moving back. Caroline sounds insecure and in competition.
Brooke got into her own by TAKING when competing did not fall in her favour, she put on the most stupid tantrums like a sore loser with long big-eye tears as if someone was brutal to her. Too fricking dumb to realise that the person who was most brutal to her was Ridge. Now she is ordering Ridge to say "I love you". The writers are being intentional here to portray the ridiculousness of her character with the audacity to be making demands under someone else's roof. Both herself and Thorne need to check into an insane asylum and be roommates where they can pretend or fight with each other for dominance. Everything has to be convenient for them.
The bustard girl was engaged to Dave and could never let fantasies of Ridge go and she never even knew the guy. And now she is proud of this "achievement".

@@Esi528 What annoyed me in this scene is that Caroline judges Brooke for changing her mind about something, when as Brooke correctly points out, Caroline can make mistakes too and change her mind. I think you know I don't think Brooke is flawless. But of course I will pick Brooke as a character to root for because Brooke is a kind and forgiving person and Caroline is not anymore, at least towards her ex best friend. She has the right to of course, but this is disturbing to me, because it is not mutual. Because I haven't seen Brooke hating Caroline for one moment. So that is why I take the "weaker" person's side.

It's her continuous behavior towards Brooke that bugs me, she doesn't leave her alone. first blackmail her, and going on to question and demean her relationship and Brooke's personality. To mention her being the first born daughter!!!! and being the first in her class, that Brooke is competitive? And yes with such behavior Brooke should also hate her, and this is a forgiving side of Brooke, and I don't like that Brooke takes it with almost no defense. Towards this hateful woman that Caroline is, who was shown to be hugely disappointed when Brooke did not lose her baby the first time , with the contrast of Brooke crying and saying "she is so young and beautiful" after learning Caroline was dying. This is the difference between them and why I root for Brooke and why Brooke's mistakes so far, seem so minimal in comparison to Caroline's dark side.
Brooke forgave even people who tried to kill her and did not go to the police, not to name all the rest.
@@Esi528 It's still a dark side of her to be disappointed when the clot of cells survived, right after she told Brooke she didn't wish she lost her baby. Caroline referred to it as a baby.
It is still a great humanity shown by Brooke to cry for this woman who hated her, who was her tormentor for months, who offended her personality, dared to question whether Brooke wanted Ridge because of his material possessions (this said by a woman who grew up having everything, and doubting Brooke because she was poor/middle class) and also daring to say Brooke did not deserve Ridge, knowing full well Ridge cheated on Brooke, and Caroline herself believing Ridge wasn't in love with and was using Brooke. If nothing else it was the other way around.
She still exposed Brooke's secret, after some pressure from Ridge (of course she would get pressure when in their conversation she lets Ridge realize that she is not telling him everything, so he would naturally insist) (it's her right to tell Ridge the truth, but you tell me if she had a dark side she would expose Brooke and she did just that) as for the other secret that was not Brooke's, she promised Storm she wouldn't say anything, and surprisingly kept her word to Storm. And perhaps out of some respect and gratitude she may have had for Beth. Also perhaps also she realized that the secret was not indeed Brooke's. This may have been old fair Caroline's side.
Brooke only plotted that one time with the letter and advising Caroline to marry Thorne. And even this advice wasn't even bad at the time, and Caroline could choose whether she can take that advice. By looking inside her own heart.
Ever since that she hasn't done anything seriously wrong against anyone.
Caroline being held prisoner by the Foresters I won't enjoy because guess who she will take it out on. Plus I disagree with them holding her prisoner and guilting her into staying in the marriage. If she wants a divorce she should be free to have it.

Caroline is kind and nice on the surface, she can be catty with her judgements, we can see her passive aggressive actions towards Thorne a lot. She made a choice, she isn't happy with it so she takes it on everyone and while blaming them all for it as if she wasn't an independent thinking entity. She is jealous and truth is that despite Thorne insecurities here and there, he is still a good man yet she wants the man who cheated on her before their wedding, hooked up with her best friend and who sexually took advantage of her and gaslit her into it being a prank gone wrong while he was more than conscious yet she was intoxicated but somehow he claimed she was the "agressor". For all there is in me I don't get how she can love him.
