I live in Sequim. John Wayne Marina is a lovely peaceful place for a walk, dog walk, picnic , to look out over water, for photography. There is a small seafood restaurant and overnight RV area . You may not have had the time or did not know about it. Also Discovery Trail is something all nature lovers should know about. Trail goes for miles and is flat. One can walk very small segments or a longer hike or bike ride. The trail does go past both the Marina and Casino and heads all of the way into Port Angeles to the west.
