@@Sunset0071951 The black guy was Vanessa's 2nd pairs partner from 11 years ago. He is French skater Yannick Bonheur and he and Vanessa skated together for 2 years. Their partnership ended in April 2010. Yannick retired in 2011 and now skates internationally in ice gala shows with his long term partner Annette Dytrt.
After Vanessa and Yannick ended their partnership she and Morgan teamed up in September 2010, a partnership of 10 years until their retirement in September 2020.
Yannick and Vanessa did well nationally during their 2 year partnership but never broke through on the international platform. However, before their partnership ended they made history as being the 1st black pairs skaters to compete in an Olympics which was in Vancouver in February 2010.
Vanessa and Morgan together were one of excellence, beauty and poetic chemistry on the ice. They gained not only national but international success in pairs skating and with their phenomenal success put France back on the map (which France had not been able to achieve in pairs skating since 1932).
It was sad to see Vanessa and Morgan having to retire but I am pleased for Vanessa that she has been given another chance to continue. She came out of retirement in April 2021 and after being released by France she is now skating for Canada with pairs skater Eric Radford and they are aiming for the 2022 Olympics. I wish Vanessa well going forward.

I agree no comparison Vanessa and Morgan are magnificent on the ice. They skate as one you can see the love radiates between them on the ice and intervews the passionate looks between them.
I came here as well after watching Vanessa with Eric, I completely agree with you. No Chemistry, just 2 professionals. Sometimes you just want to kick Morgan for being so stupid and ruining a good thing

Mbak Yanti, saya juga org Indonesia yg menyukai performance mereka walau saya sdh ga muda lagi (otw 69th). Nyesek banget rasanya mas Morgan ini berbuat yg ga baik, dan sepertinya oleh federasi Morgan dilarang skating lagi. Si mas ini sdh membuyarkan cita² mereka utk medali Olympic Beijing. Beruntung mbak Vanessa skr jadi WN Canada dan msh punya kesempatan meraih impiannya berpasangan dg mas Eric ke Olympic. Semoga mas Morgan sukses dg karir barunya. Apa pun ceritanya Morgan/Vanessa sdh mengukir sejarah yg luar biasa (khususnya buat Perancis), menginspirasi dan menghibur para fansnya di seluruh dunia. Maaf mbak, terlalu panjang komen saya🙏🙏🙏

If you look closely you will see that Morgan's tunic has variations in the shade of the darker parts of Vanessa's costume
Eric says he is Gay, but I still love Eric with Vanessa , they look so good together,plus he won’t be as mean as I have seen Morgan at times.
