Angry cats are often the cutest. But I never ever saw a cat hissing until I was 29, despite being more or less raised with cats. And it was the most lovely cat I've ever had that did it (when I took her and visited my grandparents house where my former cat now lived).

Cat hisses only if annoyed..cats are like those person who pretend to be strong from outside but soft from inside..my cat always likes to play with me but when it sees me sad it comes to me n sits silently without doing anything.

I bought a 2 yr. Old cat from a shelter. A rescue cat. She hisses all the time,but I love her. I am pretty sure she was born outside in summer and never had human touch for at least a month.That is what happens to kittens if they don’t have human touch for a month or so after birth. I accept her for who she is . She isn’t serious with her hiss. Just a habit. I hope she never loses her hiss. I love it.

I have never seen a cat chase it’s own tail.
The cats getting pissed off at their own tails and attacking them need to be taken to a vet ASAP, That’s a VERY serious neurological condition that needs prompt, immediate treatment, left untreated you are putting your cat through a life of constant agony. Please the time window for treatment for the disorder is VERY small

I remember one time my friend's cat was trying to eat my foot like it was a chew toy. I didn't like how it felt. So after moving my foot several times, trying to tell the cat "hey stop trying to eat me", I hissed at it like a mother cat would, and it got the message. So yes, hissing at a cat actually works. Lol

My cat came from a feral cat family, they all were "hissers" except him. Ive never had a cat that didnt hiss, until Black Friday came into my life.
