Have you done france 1939, ive not been able to find the video. also what i have found helpful is the german tactic blitzkrieg. when you play as the axis and have to take over Austria you can start at Bangkok, and send an army from east china to Hawaii islands.

Yeah I don't think you need the best generals......but you probably at least need two good ones.

Why not rocket artillery?
there is a reason to play field artillery over rocket artillery in WC3......but I don't remember what it was OOF
I know, it is more powerful, but having Rocket artillery means the bazooka won’t be retaliated against, field artillery is more powerful, because of the strategic locations to bombard enemies, but in my opinion, I would use rocket artillery because if you have a good general, use it on rocket artillery and bombard the enemy. This can take place if you are in a situation like Zhukov in a field artillery and you have like a 5 star artillery general, you could easily get through the enemy, also, rocket artillery is used for splash damage. Splash damage is really useful if you are surrounded by paratroopers or an ambush. Overall, field artillery is better. Thanks.
