  • Waldorf Music CEO Stefan Stenzel gives us a tour of the sound and interface on Waldorf's Zarenbourg piano, announced several years ago and now shipping in the US.
Boasting an attractive and distinctive design, Zarenbourg features an intuitive LCD-free user interface, a built-in 2.1 speaker system and a premium 76-key Fatar keybed. Its sound engine uses physical modeling for e-piano sounds and true FM synthesis for others. Among its onboard effects are a chorus, flanger, phaser, echo/reverb, auto-way, equalizer, overdrive and tremolo in both stereo and mono.

$4K+....nice, not bad modeling, but overpriced for my needs.

+blipblip88 I played one a few days ago and really fell in love with it, but there is not way I can afford one at the moment or foreseeable future. Tonight I noticed there is a Zarenbourg Module coming out. See it here: futuremusic.com/2016/01/19/waldorf-goes-eurorack-crazy-adds-zarenbourg-piano-module-for-namm2016/

I agree this is overpriced. I would rather pay for a restored '72 Fender Rhodes by Vintage Vibe
