The fact that roof mounted MGs are more effective at intercepting ATGMs than four dedicated AA cannons clumped together is frustrating to say the least.
I think it’s more because how the AA cannons are positioned on the tank (usually a spaced out square) the convergence is enough for hitting enemy planes but when it comes to closer and smaller targets precision isn’t really a prerogative

The ho-ri is actually just my arch nemesis. I cannot figure out how to pen that thing if its even remotely hull down. Frontal plate is like 400mm effective and the crew compartment has that weird spaced armor that does let anything through

1:35 that is actually really common on some tanks. Mostly on the AMX M4, but also the leopards. Sometimes they actually bounce APDS too when shot straight to the front (so no high angle impact or anything like that)
2 updates ago, Russian vehicles did not have this problem before, now it is very difficult to destroy from the side. Chinese tanks do not have such a problem, only Russian tanks do. The tank that I threw ammunition 3 times did not die and I turned and caught it in one shot.

one time the initial smoke round landed on top of the turret of my M4A1 and it had a massive dent but somehow didnt pen, felt pretty lucky after that.
