When Ivy died in Arkham Knight she turned into pollen and that pollen became a seed, if you went back to where she died you see a plant growing in its place.
Lex has since collected it and grown it into the new Ivy, she’s basically cheated death and started over.
Also Boomer wasn’t working for Lex, when you get new support squad members Boomers been injecting them with the nanaobombs. Penguin, Ivy, etc.
Boomerang didn’t work for lex he put the bombs in her head while they where fighting using his speed force

Think of it as when a plant dies not every other plant does ivy could always regenerate just as plants do in IRL.

It’s not that the mechanics of the game that is hated. It’s the story. How are you going to tell me that street level Arkham villains are going to be able to kill the Justice league, it just doesn’t make sense in that view. Next the way they completed just ruined the storyline of Batman from Arkham knight, I mean the fact that he just died like nothing is kind of heartbreaking. To be fair, the original team who worked on the Arkham games aren’t the ones who worked on Kill the Justice League but cmon. Then going back to the first reason, the brainiac boss fight was complete garbage, the same as flash’s boss fight, and like I said, how does street level characters beat someone like brainiac. Who is probably planet level strong.
