Cracking little watch ! Just a heads up .. lots have been caught in the harbour and have you fished the swash channel by the training bank for plaice? It always produces the big ones .. Good luck on next trip ! Those plaice actually looked quite fat not thin for this time off year ..

Is that to the right just past the ferry? I'm still pretty new to the Poole area

@@fishaunangling go out past the chain ferry then go towards old harry .the training bank is a rock formation which the swash channel runs along. In the summer you can get some cracking bass off the training bank on lures and live bait ! In the height off summer as daylight starts you will see fly fishermen going for the bass on the shore side for bass ! If the wind is from the east there is no point trying to fish the swash channel ! You can only fish the swash by drifting.. raw prawn ( from any supermarket) gets the bigger plaice ! Hockie feathers fished tight to the training bank is a winner to get live bait fir bass. Also if your after live bait for bass ,drifting infront off the castle on brownsea Island with hockies on incoming tide is a winner! The closer to the jetty you start your drifting and make sure you drift towards quay. I'm stopping now as I could keep giving you info for hours ..

Not really sussed it out yet. Baiter is a strange one. If you have a trailer you pay £15ish to park and launch. If you don't have a trailer you have to park in the next carpark but it's half the price. I assume there's no additional charge to launch
