How to use MENDELEY for citations and reference management

When using the IEEE style and inserting citations as numbers in brackets, the references at the end are listed by their corresponding numbers and not alphabetically. How can I sort the references alphabetically and have the citation numbers in the text automatically updated?

I don’t think you can use numeric and alphabetical order simultaneously in Mendeley.
