I made 2 lunch bag journals yesterday, n I had so much fun. I will share on my channel. N the best part is both have different folding.. super fun
Thank you for a great tutorial. I volunteer in the art show at San Diego Comic Con every year and I work alongside some awesome people. I followed along with your video and made a gift for one of the women who has volunteered there for decades. I filled it lots of fun things for her to discover. Thanks again!
That is awesome!
I just made 6 of them and used my "Bind it All" to turn them into a book that will hold ephemera I want to give to a scrapbooking friend looking at recovery from a knee replacement. Tons of room to tuck away those goodies! Thank you so much for the inspiration!
I typed in “journal cover from one piece of 12x12 scrap paper.” I should have known you’d have it! You’re such a great teacher! Thank you again, Natasha!
My gosh - does your mind ever stop? Another simple fold-up done to perfection! Who would have thunk a single sheet could become a "treasured" gift? Love your ideas so much - I have already made several of the fold books and the folded mini-journal books as Christmas cards, You keep me crafting with new things nearly daily plus your subbies add more uses too. Thanks for the inspiration and motivation!
This is simple enough for a beginner to try it and make something beautiful to give away. Thank you.
This would be a fun way to write my mother in law and add pictures to the pockets. So cute! Thank you for such wonderful instructions!
This is such an amazing project! You have to be one of, if not THE best, tutorial providers on CZcams.
I would use them as cards for birthdays, get well, etc. You could add a couple of tea bags as a little treat too. Also, you could make little pads of paper from cut-off scraps and tuck those in. Lots and lots of ideas are popping into my head. Thanks! Such a great idea!
Tea bags are a great idea! Thanks!
Awesome! I also had the idea of the tea bags. You can absolutely stuff it with chunky stuff, and then have a piece of string/twine/ribbon as a closure :)
Natasha your bags are so beautiful. I love to watch you. The instructions are so helpful on 7 pocket folder and all projects are so helpful. And your sense of humor is priceless. Keep up you beautiful work. 💝💝💝
Kathleen Dillie great idea x
Teabag idea is excellent !
Natasha this will make an adorable card, filled with gift cards and letter! TFS! 🥰🤩👍🏾💜🙏🏾
Thank you Gwen 😊
You are so amazing and generous with the tutorial! I am so excited to share this with my daughter. She is living in Japan with her two little babies and her husband, and isolated because of Covid. This is going to be a memory keeper. I’m going to fill the pockets with wonderful cherished memories from her childhood and send it to her. Thank you so much I love this.
Wonderful! I hope your daughter and her family in Japan are doing ok and staying safe :)
I LOVE that you even think about the screenshot of the instructions. That is so sweet! Thank you for sharing your creativity, Natasha 🍀 ~AnimarJournals
Hi there I hope you are alright. Do u still craft?- happy crafting- better late than never- create create create
So thoughtful of you to include the screenshot, but when I have all my materials gathered, I will replay the video and do it step by step with you. I’ve sent for a unicorn craft pad, and this is exactly what I was looking for to make my granddaughter’s birthday card. Thank you so much, it’s perfect.
Wonderful! Have fun with your project :)
I loved your idea and made a couple of them. Unfortunately I don't have a bunch of stash to decorate these so I have to improvise. Thank you for sharing your ideas!
Cool one page booklet with fun pockets!
I've made several of these wonderful pockets and sewed a signature of pages for writing in the middle of it. LOVE these! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching !
What a great idea. My mind is racing what I can do with this. A little something for my family where they can print off pictures from Christmas and put on the tags and papers. And use Christmas paper to make it. Thanks for the great idea. We don’t exchange gifts so this is a nice little something to give. Would be great as a hostess gift as well. TFS and I am going to start making some today. ❤️
Thank you Pam. Such great ideas you've got. So many uses with these, and each one will be different and individual :)
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! What a delightful and brilliant project! And I appreciate your pages of instructions...another THANK YOU! Is it possible that your video made me feel so good inside? YES! You rock. Thanks for your generous heart by sharing this beauty!
Oh wow Josie, thank YOU!! You made my day :)
Hi! I went to a thrift store today and got an old dictionary, 2 music books, vintage flash cards, old greeting cards, a book to take pages from, and several other really neat things for the beginning of my junk journal collection. I got it all for under $10 US!! 😊😊😊
Thank you for another great video. This will be a perfect vehicle to for a collection of Holiday tags. More fun than a box. TY.
I adore this little book! I think you could even add some pages in the center for a mini journal. Thank you for sharing and especially for the beautiful instructions!
I am SO GLAD I watched this! What an exciting idea! Thanks for sharing. I did!
Thank you Evelyn :)
Watching you is so inspiring. Thank you!
Thank you I was trying to think how I could make pray journals that would be easy to mail this is a great idea for so many things !! !
I really love using these as an idea to hide small gifts for holidays. Things like gift cards, a few dollar bills, pictures of you together, etc. That in itself would be the whole gift and it'd be fun for them to open and reuse after! Thank you for the AMAZING idea.
I am going to make a few of these with my daughter as a Summer craft project. These are perfect for Granparents gifts with photos and little notes.
Most excellent video. Thank you for the screen shot of the instructions. Can’t wait to try these
Love this idea! Thinking craft fair item.... hot cocoa packets for two... small packs of mini marshmallows, mini candy canes, and 2 of those tiny spoons...Andee mints....Wah-La done! Thanks for the share! Always love your videos! Merry Christmas Natasa!! 🎁🎄🎁🎄🎁
Oh yes!! OMG amazing ideas. I love it!! Thank you. Merry Christmas to you too Suzy!
Hot cocoa ! Great idea
Yes!
I love the beautiful things that you make! Your instructions are so clear! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thanks so much 😊
What a neat idea! I always love how you put the instructions up and are so clear with your directions! TFS
Thank you Lisa!
Great idea Natasa , you could also do a signature and pop it in the middle, using the twine to tie it in. Thanks for the video lovey xo
Oh! I like that idea!
Diane Duncan That is a great idea!
Diane Duncan , that’s what I was thinking also! 😉
Mine is very plain - but functional. Wanted to tell you I have used it to put the little plastic identification stakes for plants and vegetables that I had in my garden for 2021 inside the pockets. I wish I had kept all the stakes, but I have enough to remind me to do it next year. I put 2021 on the back so I would remember! Your ideas are phenomenal.
Another meticulous project! You are "The Master Paper Creator". Well done! A pleasure to watch.
Thank you so much 😀
That's a kool pocket journal 😎. That's neat you have a tag book!
I was rapt when I saw this YT come up... I recently saw a similar project elsewhere but their instructions were impossible! Your instructions are SO easy - THANKYOU! They look so good!
Thank you so much Jennifer! I'm glad you found the instructions easy to do! That was my aim :)
Love your written directions showing in the video, it does helps a lot. I will make this , thanks for sharing your work
Louise welch
Absolutely THE BEST directions. Tytytyty
I've just found this tutorial, and have made my first one! My husband suggested making one for our grandson and putting money into the pockets....... now I'm going through my stash to look for suitable papers! Thanks for your easy clear instructions!💞💞🙂🙂
Wonderful! Thanks for watching :)
I just came across this and I have to tell you the instructions on your tutorials are awesome!! I love them...
If I didn't tell you the first time I watched this, these are wonderful. I made one along with you this time - a small one - and it turned out great. It'll fit perfectly in the blue and green JJ I'm working on. As always, love and thanks, MK 🤗💗🌞🌵
Wonderful! I'm so glad :) Thank you :)
I love these. I'm making one now for Valentines Day for my penpals.
Great idea!!
Thanks for sharing the idea and for the "screen shot opportunities!" Such a versatile little book!
A very cool fold, Natasha. I have made almost 50 for gift giving for this Holyday season. You inspire me. I have been making a whole bunch of ephemera for filling them. Very humbling &, yet, exciting as well. Best day now.
Wow you have been a busy bee!!!
I love this idea! I have a friend in Malaysia who loves to write and uses little embellishments in her letters and cards. She'd love this! Thank you x
Sounds great! Have fun :)
What a great idea. There’s so much you could do with this. Thank you for sharing with us xx
So cute! Thanks for showing your project with directions!
Thanks for watching!!
This would make a Perfect Grad card full of Gift cards for an International student I had last year. She graduates next month and is planning on going to College either this Sept or next (all depends on covid). I will also (with your help) be making her a journal as a grad gift. I know she will absolutely love it.
I couldn’t wait to try one of these. I did a Christmas one for a friend . So much fun. Thank you so much. 🌸
Thank you so much.I watch all your videos multiple times.👍❤️
I’ve just finished my first one and I love it! Can’t wait to make more!
I love, love, love this project. This was really an answer to prayer. I could not think of a nice way to gift bookmarks. This is it!
Yes!! Bookmarks. This would make a little gift like that really so much more special! Any little thing really - a notebook, a teabag. Its so nice to open something and then look through all the little pockets!
i love that you had written instructions in shot while you were making and explaining, made it so so easy to follow and im really excited to try it x
I love it!!! As I watched you make this I thought of how cute it would be add other things besides tags. My church does something fun treats during a women's retreat. I can see so many possibilities. Thank you!
Oh absolutely! That's why I love this project so much. The pockets can be stuffed with anything, and the 'card' doesn't need to close (if for example you are using chunky stuff in the pockets). Just add a piece of string or ribbon as the closure :)
Echo Park paper, as well as Graphic 45 and Authentique, are all double sided paper. You could easily do that with collections from all of them!
This is a fun idea. I really like how you show that this can be done without expensive tools so everyone can have fun making it.
Absolutely! We can be so creative really, with minimal stuff! I wanted the score board for SO long, and finally got one. But to be honest, I rarely use it. Main thing is good glue that doesn't warp paper. And my sewing machine. Those two I absolutely NEED. But having said that, I probably could do without the sewing machine if I had to :)
@@TreasureBooks I have an older sewing machine that only stitches a straight line. I see you use a straight line as well, at least in this project. Does stitching straight lines work okay with paper or better to go with zig zag stitch? This is the only reason why I haven't brought my machine out to stitch paper projects.
@@selenew1242 I only used a straight line in my stitching until I got a bit used to my machine. The zig zag is only for the decorative effect. So straight line works just fine. Just use a larger stitch length so that the paper doesn't tear.
@@TreasureBooks Perfect! I prefer the look of the straight myself. I am dragging out the machine now :) Time to play. Thank you for the encouragement!
LeSaFran - fantastic!! lovely!!!!!
I really like this idea. You could use it for many things, make a bunch ahead of time for gifts. I have a Grandaughter’s birthday coming in January and I usually give money or a gift card. Would be great for Christmas too!
Natasha, these are so fun! Thank you for showing us all how you made them. I need to pull some papers bc these would make great birthday gifts. ❤️🎁
I love your tactic, slow enough for me to follow along Thank you
Just beautiful! Can’t wait to make some. Lovely for journals or I’ll use for cards as well. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love it! What a unique addition to our journals or a stand alone project! TFS!
Natasha, this is fabulous. Love your voice, you are so easy to listen to. Thank you for your kindness with both verbal & written instructions. Merry Christmas 🎄🥰
Thank you so much Cyndie. Merry Christmas to you too :)

Awesome as a gift
Thankyou once again
Love these! Just in time to make an interactive birthday card for my young niece. Looking forward to filling those pockets with treasures for her. Thank you so much for the clever idea and clear instructions.
Love the stitching. Would like to see this all around the edges. These would be great to use for your bucket list to-dos and then put all together as a journal. Thanks! Gonna do these for my children to use for our bucket-list day/road trips.
Not sure how i missed this before now, but i'm very grateful it turned up today! this is a great project when my cutter decided to fly off my table (it didn't survive).
Oh no!! RIP cutter :(
Oh my...I love this project. Thanks for sharing with us. I think i will do this for Happy Mail! thanks
Love this! Simple AND beautiful! Will def make these as gifts with small card sets and matching tags. I really like that you write out the instructions for us so we can take a screenshot. For me, that is very, very helpful. Thank you!
These are great. I saw someone do something very similar awhile ago but yours are very cute! I like that you explain about the bulk! You’re right , when it’s filled up, you can’t even tell! Tyfs🙋🏻♀️👏🏼👏🏼
Glad you like them! Thank you :)
I’m a newbie to junk journals and this project is a great idea. Your tutorial’s are great, catching up on many of yours. 👍🎄🎄🎄
I made this into a little journal by adding paper and binding it into the spine :-) . Thank you for the tutorial.
So nice of you, to get this done only with options everyone has. Thank you so much for your extra efford ❤️👍
I love this project and I made it straight away alongside you. Thanks for the tutorial. I plan on using the one I made to add to a junk journal I am going to send to a pen pal as a present.
Natasha, I love these! Beautiful job! You always inspire me! Big Hugs ~Chelle
Thank you for sharing. I really appreciate the screenshot that makes a difference. Sometimes it seems like oh that’s easy but then when you actually start working on the project you have to go over it in the video and that means another process.
To be honest, I started writing these notes for myself so that I know what comes next, and then I thought I'll just share it with everyone hahah
Love your step by step written directions! This will be perfect for my granddaughters recital pictures.
This is a great little project!! I will definitely be doing it. I just love all your tutorials! 🥰
Natasha - you are such a great teacher! By writing the instructions and demonstrating, I really learn. And this is a really sweet project idea! Thanks so much for another great video!
I always like your last step most: ADMIRE! It says it all! Thank you for this cute idea, with some pages in between it‘s also a nice little journal cover.
hehe thank you so much :)
Hi Natasha, I keep making all the notes of the hundreds of different things you design. Sure am going to be busy. It is just going to be fun all the way and upon every day. Bless you for sharing your love for paper with everyone. The 6 pocket design is really nice.
Fabulous tutorial!! I’ve saved it so I can create one to add in the journal I’m making for my daughter. Brilliant! Thanks!
The ideas are endless. I am excited to make one and use it for a mini photo scrapbook😁
What a fun project! Thanks for sharing, as always!!
These are awesome and I would definitely make these for happy mail to my friends and enclose goodies for them. Thank you. I love how you give instructions and also show exactly how you do it step by step.
These are just adorable! I'd use them as gifts, in happy mail, as special surprises, so many ideas! Great job!!!!
These are so adorable! Love the bow & beads for a near final touch. Perfect directions, I may try this 💗💗.
Such a great idea and very helpful that you include the written instructions with your projects. 💗
Thanks so much! 😊
Simply wonderful. I like your way of instruction so much. Thank you
This was such an easy fun project. Thank you for sharing and making the process so clear to follow. 🙏
Beautiful. So simple, but beautiful. Thanks for sharing. D
Thank you Peridona!
Great idea, Natasha! TFS the inspiration!
This project is a gem you can do so many things with it. So versatile, thank you very much for sharing this awesome prject
I loved this project!!! I can’t wait to try it!! Thank you!!! ❤️
Just made this today. I absolutely love it! I attached one of the smaller 3 or 4 pocket ones to the front. I ended up with 10 pockets. I wish I could show you. This will definitely be something I make often.
Oh I'm so glad you like it JoDee. I love that you made it into 10 pockets!!
This is so beautiful thanks for share. The way you explain instructions it’s so easy to follow! 👏👏
I so appreciate how you show us how to do project with no fancy equipment!
I just found your videos and they are wonderful! Your instructions are so clear, and we even get a bonus: you write them out for us. I really enjoy making various journal/mini-book/pocket structures. Thank you!
What a fabulous happy mail or addition to a swap! Saved this to two playlists! TY so much. You could always add a smaller journal to one of the larger pockets, and with Authentique, G45, or Echo Park paper, and the 3x4 journaling cards in those collections, this would be a great artwork!
Just made one today, with Echo Park paper in a winter theme for fun. also made an A2 card that I stuck in the right hand large pocket and I'll put other goodies in the left side. What size are your tags you're using?
You could even put a signature in the middle, the way she put twine around it you could just tuck folded paper in there. Not sure how strong it would be, depends on the paper
These are adorable. I made one for my journaling, but plan on making more for csrds snd gifts. Thank you!
