- This is part of my Italy series of videos checking out some of the best riding locations. This is a black trail called the secret trail in Paganella Italy.

Yes I know how that GoPro effect makes it look mellow, but that was nuts. Glad you rode it out and made it. It looked 50-50 😮

The 2nd one you stopped at if you look straight ahead from where your camera is then then look at the ground you see very clearly just how BIG a drop it actually is. I do this with all you videos so I can gauge just how steep it is. I LOVE IT "Holy Moly Did you see that" YES we did
The gopro always struggles to show steepness. When I edit them, I wonder why I am so slow.

I'm with you, I hate the overly wide distorted view of some of the cameras people are using. Great ride and time as usual!
That is my thoughts. I would rather it look flat but be easy to watch than the other way around.

How do you find the trails on your own with no guide, do you use trail forks? Don't think I'd have the guts to ride those trails on my own 👍
I do use trail forks. I also had a map from the bike park, which was really helpful. I do get lost a lot. Must admit I ride very cautiously when on my own. I am so much more confident with others. If I was following someone down, I wouldn't need to stop.
Hi Lance. Did you need to take out special travel insurance for you biking trip.
I got insurance through Southern Cross. I read the T&C's very closely as some policies exclude black trails. The real issue is if you want to race. You then need specialist insurance, which is quite expensive.
