Irrelevant. It's a business, so removal from appstore kills >90% of revenue, which is no different for them from total ban. The mobile phone app duopoly killed the economic relevancy of the open internet.
Just copy the CCP and require that 51% of the company be owned by an American partner, that the servers must be in the US, and that source code and algorithms must be revealed.

不是源代码或者算法的问题。tiktok一开始是用十几亿中国人的数据来训练的神经网络，训练好了之后才拿来用的。所以核心价值是根据这十几亿中国人的数据调出来的神经网络模型的参数。美国无论是强行来抢、或者强行来买，都不可能。

@@yunko9369 I wish I wasn't and we had FB, Google YT before, FB YT was choppy for accessed them until our govt banned them . Google was in China until 2016. I meant I witnessed our govt banned them, the ways which 2 governments deal with are way differently. that's why i had that comment.

@@kenyup7936 So, it wasn’t China banned Google. Only FB was banned. However, the US banned TikTok on the ground of national security just like Huawei. Even garlic from China is labeled as a national security by one the US senators! Yet, the country claims to have free speech.
Another difference is, you still can access FB, YT and Google thru VPN. But once TikTok is banned in the US, TikTok will be gone in the US unless the company agrees to sell to a US company.
