Wario Land 4 - The Toxic Landfill [Normal] score run (25430)

This is the first stage with a really interesting strategy to it. The first purple pipe I enter has 12 black spiked enemies in it, each of which drops three 100 coins and a heart piece (or a fourth 100 coin if you have full hearts). So you should get 4800 coins if you come in here with a full heart gauge. But the game can only render 20 sprites at a time, meaning that most of the coins will simply fail to drop. To get around this I use this strategy, where I pick them off two at a time, and take intentional hits to get all the coins.
Because of the intentional hits, I have to do this before filling up my hearts: taking a hit at 8 hearts and a full gauge causes the gauge to empty instantly, and you won't get the bonus 100 coins from future enemies until you fill it back up. So I play through quite a bit of the level, backtrack, then play through it a second time with a full gauge.
