Nice episode bro! Suggestion lang is to relocated the differential breathers para iwas hyrolock sa engine. Also DC-DC dual battery system na pwede nag charge sa alternator and solar para goods na kahit ilang araw pa. Offgrid kumbaga.
Yun pala nalimutan ko mention yun diff breather, and yeah naka dc dc na din siya, kasama nung inverter may battery management siya to rotate the electricity pabalik when running 😊👍🏻

Diff breathers will not help the engine from hydrolocking, lol. Water getting in to your airbox will cause hydrolocking. Also, "Snorkels" will not help unless everything is sealed from airbox. Most people are not aware that airbox is not completely sealed.
You probably need to worry more about the alternator drowning in deepwater than injesting water into the engine.

Hi po sir jec. My query lang po ako. I have a conquest 2x4 manual lang po. Ano po kayang upgrade ang pwede dito. D ko naman gagmitin sa mga overlanding na katulad ng ginagawa nyo. Ang gusto ko lang ay camping sa mga malalapit lang na lugar. I admire your set up sa bed. Power
supply, water supply and the enclosure ba tawag dun na naaangat parang bubong. Gusto ko rin ang awning mo. Pwede bang malaman kung san ako makakapagpaset up nyan? Ako kasi ay taga lucena city. Mahilig lang talaga ako sa outdoor activities at nakita ko napakaganda ng set up mo sa conquest. Napasubscribe na tuloy ako ya. Any way sir jec bakanaman?

How did you get the 295 on the Hilux, did you have to do a body mount chop? Did you change the lower arms? Is there any rubbing?

Yes kaya yan Idol, pwede mo gamitin reference ang jimny, mas maliit sa expander pero dami kaya i mount, invest ka lang sa magandang cross bar or roof rack kasi dun siya naka mount

Where's the tank skid??? looks like it's missing it. Also, on the UCA, a better explanation would be that aftermarket UCAs are needed when adding suspension lift or longer travel suspension, it will usually be stronger than stock, helps clear the coil bucket(if equipped) on downward travel and wheel alignment geometry. Now that you have longer travel suspension, it's also advisable to install new bumpstops so your wheel wont go all the way up and all the way down.
Anyone getting into "Overlanding" should just start out small, just get a high clearance 4x4 and a tent. Go outside and camp. Note down what you need while getting to your destination and at the camp site and when you get home. Now start building up and enjoy parting ways with your money. lol. Tread Lightly!
Uvp’s as i mentioned is only until the differential, since overland rig naman hindi nag eexpect ng brutal offroad condition

@@jecepisodes917 understood. But you kinda contradict yourself there, if you want everyone to understand especially those who are just starting, then aren't they considered as 'amateurs'? Before you become an enthusiast you must pass the Noob part. You learn through phases as long as the interest remain. I see plenty people going all out on their rig only to lose interest a year later. I won't even mention the "faux overlanders" who just buy all that stuff for looks.
Just looking at my own skid plates.. I have more scratches on the tank skid than the rest. tank skids sits lower than the bottom of frame. I still have the stock tank skids so it's kinda weak, that's why its all scratched and bent, still needs to be upgraded soon. All other skids are about 10mm thick, but barely any scratches. All this depends on the vehicle anyways, I always just tell people to remove their stock side steps when they go wheeling with us (FREE Mod!), then order sliders the first thing they get home before they go wheeling again next.
