here in America if young children speaks tagalog ...we are in awe.......when they enter the job market....they get paid higher because they are bilingual besides.....they develop more dendrites in the brain , learning a different language is a "skill". My kids are adult now...they now question me why i did not teach them how to speak tagalog......luckily they understand it but could not speak it fluently....both are in the medical field
