That second poem that made me cry. When I was 9 years old my best friend passed away and her grandmother gave me her picture with that poem on the back. Rest In Peace Katlyn you will never be forgotten

Serene, all that the best poetry should be. And Tom Hiddleston's perfect inflection- sublime! Thanks for posting. Maya Angelou too! Too often it is forgotten- women have penned some of the most insightful, beloved poems. Namaste. Z.
Yes please! I don't care for the effects either. It sounds like a perfectly tuned computer voice reciting poetry on the Enterprise, while Picard stares upon the universe. It lacks realness.
Sorry, I don't want to offend anybody. Yes, he has a beautiful voice and I do love it, but... 🤷🏻♀️ - no. He is so brilliant - why? This is a grotesque display of his voice. The poetry is lacking and overloaded with pathos and/or effects. Leaves me underwhelmed or almost bursting with laughter. The false, overpowered dramatics! I don't hear a cold: "I crave your mouth,..." , but, "I am Loki of Asgard and I am burdened with...!" Couldn't listen longer after that.
He really has a magical voice, don't you think? I just love it
His voice truly is magical. It's so calming. I feel tingly in my head while listening when I use my headphones.
Absolutly!
Yeah. I wish to have such a beautiful vocal cord.
I do not like his voice to be mixed with electronic. It then became irritating, and I pretty!
I swear he could read a car manual and i would be entranced
He could read me the phone book and I would still be completely enthralled with him. 😩
Yes exactly
Lmao, so true
I know right. He has such a gentle voice
🤩🤣
"I want to eat your skin like a whole almond" I was feeling some kind of way until I heard that and now I can't sleep
I know, that poem is a bit creepy 😳
Timestamp please?
His voice is relaxing me😊
I do love hearing him read. Poetry or otherwise. It has a calm intensity to it.

Ohhh my Goodness, I could fall asleep to his voice...so sweet.

Thank you for listening these. 🙂 They should have been in the description.
I agree. Thanks for this. You may want to change “angle” to “angel.”
Oh.My.God! He's reading my absolutly favourite poem of Robert Frost! So beautiful! His voice is so calming, I could listen to it all day and night!
That’s the one referenced in The Outsiders, that prompted Johnny to say, “stay gold, Ponyboy.”
@@genxgina1106 yes! I still love the book and the movie, saw it at least 20 times or so!
Lately I’ve been growing attached to English accents and British people so this is soothing to me
_I could listen to him all day._
Nothing gold can stay is my absolute favorite poem, I just felt extreme excitement for him to read the poem haha

I love his voice.
This is my favorite ASMR.
It’s so completely obvious when Tom is actually reading compared to the other guy.
Tom is perfect in every way he has it all body looks voice
Perfect voice. Omg I love poetry. I love Tom.
They could not have picked a more superb collection of poetry.
He’d be great reading creepy stories. Really lovely voice
I am just enthralled listening to his Readings...
I love him so much, and it makes me happy that there are no dislikes on this video.
He could legit read maths to me and I'll still be finding it calming😩🖤
He did that in another video during a radio interview.
This man could be reading a math book and I could pay attention
Check out his radio interview where he did that.
Thank you 🖤🤍

Nada dorado puede permanecer, creo que mi primera poesía en inglés. Gracias a S.H. Hinton que la incluyó en su novela rebeldes.

Only a few are actually TH. The super Loki impression is not TH.
Is it possible to post a video without the background music?

Is this really Tom Hiddleston? I just can’t see him doing this. But I so would love it if he did.
It is!

Why does everyone add reverberation to the narrators voice while reading poetry? Am i missing something?
Sigh..

I was wheezing for 6 minutes after hearing him say that… it caught me so off guard-
