But the issue is money. there is no money for scientist. atelast month ka 2-3 lakh to hona chahiye. so what to do. crush the dream, go to dtu and do self study of physics or go outside (which I don't want to)
Dekho agar physicist banna hai to best hai iiserk chale jao . Research me paisa to hai but it demands time . So agar paisa factor hai then you should do engineering. This is the sad reality 🥲 .

@@kabirgambhir4656 You can go for DTU or BITS ofc but you have to keep in mind that if you are planning on pursuing physics masters/PhD from a reputed college the other applicants will have a greater advantage pertaining to their physics bachelor background and furthermore, there are prerequisites to be met for many colleges in which you would be wanting to pursue the physics course. Also, regarding the financial aspect, in the field of research you have to be very dedicated to your subject/topic of choice to make a name for yourself and get financial benefits thereafter but I must mention it is not as lucrative on average as its engineering counterpart especially in our country. Regarding the new projects coming up in case of experimental particle physics, all I would say is that these are significant yes but looking at them as a financial potential in the field could be a bit misleading considering the availability, opportunity and overall expertise and experience required to be a part of such projects and institutions.
Do all the candidates who attempted the exam get a rank or is there a minimum qualifying cutoff marks like JEE Advanced (like you need to get xx amount of marks to be included in the marks list) because my rank card shows that I've been disqualified but when I'm tallying my answers with the final key I'm getting around 50-60 marks

Brothers. I am Dropped Out Student Of BSMS Course from iiser Mohali. I want to say something about iiser.. In Iiser You Won't get Any jobs or any placements like Btech.And You have to study it for 5 years and the fee is also high in iisers.. If you really want to earn more money like more salary choose Btech or any other fields in this bsms program you have to spend 10 years of Time too Long na! So Think Twice before selecting don't waste your valuable Time😢..
