Hearing Joe the Vampire with a Lancashire accent is just wrong he even looks feckin Irish! in fact all 3 sound wrong , goes to show these actors can really do accents great show too btw.

Americans can rarely spot a Brit playing an American. On the flip side we can spot it in one sentence of dialogue. Not sure what this tells us.
Give me a break, don't give them too much credit. I could name a handful of actors from the UK that do bad American accents. Gerard Butler being one of the worst. James McAvoy, Ewan McGregor, Benedict Cumberbatch, Emma Watson, Simon Pegg. The list goes on.
Also the only reason we give most of these people a pass is because the southern accent is so hokey and exaggerated that even a real American with that kind of accent finds it outrageous.
