I'm speechless when the body rolling.. and started to almost breathless when the beast V6 engine is mounwhe on the frame and those gourgeose rubber .. and I feel that I almost fainted when all the accessories were loaded... my gauwd this creature is so awawesoly fantastic!!!

This FJ40 it was originally delivered brand new from Colombia . My parents used to have two an 1980 and a 1984.

Fantastic restoration and tastefully done. I prefer a hardtop but that is inconsequential. I like the new color and complimentary interior. The upgrade to the drive train is fantastic and very clean. Along with the suspension being completely upgraded and not obnoxious. Not to mention all the subtle little things that modernize the vehicle but are subtle and blend in with the build.
Fantastic build and it retains the ruggedness and capabilities. Yet filled with very refined and well thought out upgrades.

Gorgeous outcome!!. Warm memories from the very first FJ40 (1.967??) my late Grandad had. Later on, my late Dad bought his first Toy FJ43. Not long after I got my degree from my MD School, I kept the family tradition, getting a '79 FJ40, later adding a couple FZJ.73 + a series 80 + 4Runner, etc. Given (deserved) TLC, those jewels last forever!!. Many thanks & Blessings for your awsome Resto.mod work!..

Excellent Job !!! your team did, !!! I also have 4X4 called "ROCKY" in long chassis see Model 1984 in an original condition, so i know the worth of these classic all rounder Gems, gauge of metal sheet, designing, durability, ruggedness, can't be seen and made now a days. Keep it up Bro !!!!

Holy moly frigin grail!!!!! I love all LCs but this one crushed my attention!!! The long wheel base,the color,the wordless detail,oh never mind …,, it’s indescribable. But please tell me how much this masterpiece cost so I can pinch myself and wake up to reality 😐
i would rather keep the old look - the original white red color combination was a lot better looking than the shiny "after" in my opinion...

That was great! Amazing quality of work and details, however... I liked the original color much more and the recaro seats don’t go with style of vehicle. And I liked the original hard top more than the canvas. Now that I know what I want, I’m off to make a fortune so hopefully one day I can pay for this lol 😂

Good for another 40 years of use. Would a 5.7L V8 fit? How about a 6 speed manual transmission?

Не понятно зачем! уникальный самодостаточный для того времени превращать в гибрид прошлых и современных технологий, Я думаю ценнее сохранить в том виде в котором он задумывался, со всеми его достоинствами и возможно недостатками. Конечно может он не уникален и их таких осталось много для творческой фантазии. Реализованный проект по моему мнению не оставил той уникальности которая была.

You didn't do any justice to that nice makeover by replacing the engine, should've stick to the original 6 in-line, that thing is power beast, didn't need that V6 at all. I would've give love to the factory 2F. But that is just me.

Everything was flawless except the leaf springs. They are very uncomfortable. Atleat on the front shouldve gone for coil spring conversion

Ther results are amazing. Though just music and a slideshow is not impressive TBH. I would have rather have someone cover some of the challenges, and highlighting the improvements vs. just a list in the description. Describe the hours spent to get it to that point. The music got annoying so I skipped over a lot. Workmanship looks outstanding.
