I think a lot of the people who prefer this song to the original don't understand why the original is so great. It just has an attitude of optimism and passion that is not only present in the vocals, but almost predominantly in the instrumentation. What surprises me about this song is that a lot of EDM loves bass, and yet they wrote a bass line that absolutely pales in comparison to the original's. I get this is more chill, but I don't feel the music in me, or this song when I hear it
