  • A floating pier for the delivery of desperately needed humanitarian aid has been completed off the shore of Gaza, the U.S. military says. CBS News national security contributor Sam Vinograd has more on that and the threats Israel has been facing from Iranian proxies in the Middle East.

This pier has been attacked by Hamas. This might be occurring now too.

Should be equipped with air and ground countermeasures....Just a little insurance against "mistakes" by anyone....And there should be a vivid statement by the US advising there are no such things as "mistakes"...

This is not about "security vulnerabilities."
    It is about "logistics."
I consider this "vulnerabilitization" strategy to be incredibly orientalist and racist.
It is worse than the "Horn of Africa" strategy.

The air drops and the pier is possibly one of the most disgusting examples of "humanitarian cover" for genocide, as the ICJ special rapporteur Francesca Albanese called it.

I wonder how many US hostages got released for all of this aid we're giving them

None, because hamas does not want this. They even attacked the pier. They don’t want aid because they want people to starve so that way it looks worse on tv.

Hamas doesn’t want food for the population. They’re perfectly happy with their people suffering and using it as a PR campaign.

The big question...who will control the pier 6 months from now. Will the US do as it has done in the past just up and leave. The US government has a bad habit of leaving material to the enemy. Israel keep an eye on the pier.

The truth is the U.N. and the U.S. don’t want to be ashamed of having to fire at Hamas and have their own killed. So they set up Israel. Sickening.

If the US wanted to end the war, they could send in troops. Pushing Israel to delay the end of the war is incredibly foolish.
