I still feel like they have degraded in quality and im not sure why, this one I just finished watching and it seemed way funnier than the 2020 and recent 2021 one, tho it might be just me. There were a couple brilliant ones around early to mid 2010s.
It's weird when they have certain people, you'd think they'd be livelier. When Warwick Davis did it I was really disappointed since he's not exactly a stranger to comedy.
@@Gunman610 its a lot about editing, before editing the show is multiple hours long. They then make it more compact to fit the tv schedule. It also matters who the other guests are, people have better chemistry with some than others. :P

Which was a great choice. The celebrities contribute very little. The only decent one in this episode was Sharon, who has a bit of a Noel Fielding/Russel Brand vibe.
I liked the way they used to have it, because with them all / mostly all being comedians, they end up often having way fewer funny people on it, due to at least half of them being horrible and unfunny, bringing down the quality of entertainment, as they compete for attention with their unfunny quips and horrible personalities etc. It makes it hard to watch sometimes, which sucks because this used to be one of my favourite shows and I really looked forward to it properly. But the last few years have been pants, compared to what it was.
I was 11 in '05, it was a pretty shit year for pop culture ephemera. It'll be a long time before Crazy Frog, 'happyslapping' and money fleecing ringtones are critically re-evaluated

Johnathan Ross is so underrated every time he appears on the show he’s a delight also he’s very knowledgeable and he always sets himself up for a good punchline
I really love that they could get Gordon Ramsay on something like this! He´s a really sharp and witty person as far as I can tell, but it seems some of the other contestants, mainly the well seasoned (OLD :) Jonathan Ross rides all over him, you can tell Gordon doesn´t like that. But he keeps together, and he plays the game perfectly in the end. After all, this is all for show, but I imagine, at the time, Gordon was juggling quite an amount of new businesses and business plans - and quite frankly, this kind of banter could easily put me off in that situation. Gordon handled it like a true champ!
