My only problem is that the Outlaw seems almost unplayable without Weak auras, so many buffs to track, knowing if the buffs u got from roll the bones are good, if you should reroll them, compare it to something like warrior where you just smash

Agreed. RTB is impossible without WA to manage. And still haven't found anything to track Adrenaline rush and Ghostly STrike cd
@@philharmonic0 yeah, I play outlaw since shadowlands and men, it's fun, but this spec is the prime example of the problem with Blizzard, designing the class around addons, it's one thing to keep the attention to buffs on target dummy, but it's different in m+ with affixed and one shoot mechanics, especialy where there are few different buffs from roll the bones AND then normal buffs like slice of dice, between the eyes etc
So what's the issue with weakauras? xd i use them on all of my alts so I really can't see the issue. All the annoying outlaw parts can be done by wa's. Leavin you with a class that performs way better then warrior rn.
Outlaw is criminally underrated.

I've just recently switched from assassination to outlaw - the timing on assassination was quite tough for me, but the reactive style of outlaw is what I was hoping fury warr would be.
I love being "active" so im very excited to try out the build - sadly - its time to regear as mastery is the lowest stat prio on outlaw, but highest on assassination.

I main Outlaw and I'm not gonna lie it can be a bit overwhelming. Made a Arms Warrior alt to relax hehe. The APM is a hair too high, and there's just so much to keep track of it can be exhausting LOL. Kind of hope bliz reins it back a bit at some point.

I main Outlaw, and I love the feel- I mainly play Hidden Opp but there are those who prefer Keep it Rolling especially for M+ as it pulls ahead on dmg when executed well.
I will say aswell, that the spec is inately tanky and even more so due to the need to stack Vers as our main secondary stat!
Personally, I love that you're always just blasting away. No need to hold Cd's for the most part- Everything is just full send, all the time!
Outlaw has been a lot of fun this season. Glad I mained it.

Im playin outlaw for the first time this ssn and its become my favorite spec the speed, the dmg , the rolling way the spec works where popping cds on refresh almost always gets rewarded in the form of cdr, really just love it. My two biggest gripes are the punishing feeling of losing momentum i.e. slow pulls or cc during bossfights(but i guess this sucking is what makes the opposite feel so good) and second thing is when tanks chainpull so you dont get a chance to restealth and pump :p
You have to have the downs with the ups, and as opposed to the other rogue specs, outlaw has less impactful downs

Assassination is just too good with the class fantasy that I never bothered about playing Outlaw😅
I just play assa no matter what always. First of all, I play what I want, secondly, swapping to another specc can sometimes feel like having to play and/or learn a different class.

I dunno what it is about the current iteration, it just isn't clicking for me. I recently learned to take ambush off my bars, blew my brains, definitely helped, still like...I dunno KiR is a weird capstone. Glad a lot of people are enjoying it, not my bag.

Hey bro. I dont play the game anymore but like I said before. You are the voice of WoW for me. Everytime I buy a dlc and convince myself that this time imma stick around, I always visit this chanel :) i hope that you will create lore videos from start to the current story. I know that alot of people wich i met in starting zones stopped because of the vast amount of lore and being overwhelmed and not knowing where to begin.

While I agree with most points, there are some issues with Outlaw that make it borderline frustrating to play at times.
- Between the Eyes going on cooldown at the end of your crackshot window, either because you're spamming the button (human error) or because the game has a moment of lag, spell queue delay, input delay, or stealth condition switch delay, and it's not even your fault.
- Sometimes stealth breaks and your Between the Eyes goes on cooldown when you press it. Doesn't happen often and it's hard to reproduce when it happens, incredibly frustrating.
- Getting screwed by RNG by not having any procs on sinister strike/ambush 5 times in a row.
- Getting screwed by RNG by not getting your 5 CP refunds during crackshot, especially during a raid opener this is a huge damage loss and you might as well just stand in fire when this happens as this issue causes Adrenaline Rush to go on cooldown. You'll enter a downwards spiral of not being able to get cooldown reduction fast enough to get adrenaline rush back up fast enough, while also not getting enough energy to actually keep going.
- When you use stealth sometimes Adrenaline Rush keeps ticking down at normal rate having Upperhanded Upper Hand not work for up to 6 seconds.
Imo Outlaw is still one of the better specs, but the rework is being overpraised. It introduced a bunch of issues that are only fixed with the tierset, while a lot of players (including myself) don't enjoy the concept of shadow dance for outlaw. Also not a big fan of having to sacrifice vanish for DPS rotation instead of utility. You specifically mentioned Ghostly Strike, which due to lack of keybinds I had to macro into Between the Eyes (only during crackshot). I have leveled a second outlaw rogue and I actually had almost no energy issues until I started using Ghostly Strike. It's strong and basically free DPS, but it also contributes to the energy issues, so I hope they remove this cost.
Also don't focus too much on the top logs. The highest logs are the outliers of RNG. They've had their CP refunds in their favor, had lucky rolls etc. When all RNG lines up and I get 1 or 2 big rolls and a steady refund of CP during crackshot windows my DPS can easily be 20% higher. When I'm doing a raid and I'm top 3 DPS because of RNG and we wipe, then next pull we kill it and I had bad RNG and I'm 7th DPS with 20% less overall, then the bad log is logged.
It's a fun spec, but it's got issues that should not be forgotten (including by the devs, who stay rather silent)
generally a nice spec, i just don't like the huge rng part. how good are the rolls? do i get cdr? how many between the eyes resets did i get? so quite a large part of the dmg is not in the player's hand, but pure rng...if i wanna play casino, i fly to vegas.
I get what you are saying, and I do have to mention that the spec does not rely on the RNG to function, the RNG comes and goes and you are along for the ride xD
@@MarcelianOnline yeah that's true, it does work either way but the raw ouput is rng and the spec is also a bit buggy. between the eyes getting on cd while in stealth, not getting stealth windows when leaving classic stealth

5:09 This is actually the problem i have with Outlaw atm. I know outlaw blasts like crazy, but it does make me feel like shit wenn you dont get the BTE procs during Subterfuge. I absolutely hate how it plays. Shadowlands Preseason outlaw was crazy, it was just consistent blasting while virtually being a ranged spec. And also Subterfuge windows without Adrenaline Rush feels very weird. Its like youre lagging for some reason. I really dislike the fact that they removed Dreadblades and Invogorating Shadowdust being a Sub only Talent since Dragonflight but oh well

regarding the rng, if you play the "keep it rollin" build, you can kiss 90% of the rng goodbye, AND the build does the most damage for both tyrannical and fortified
really? ive been considering swapping from HO, i can pull off KiR but ive been to scared.
it is just very punishing if you die, at least with HO you get the haste buff so you dont become an auto attack bot without adrenaline rush@@aweosmeshs5919

my aoe dmg is gnarly but single target is dismal

Only problem with outlaw is that it is melee. Lol, the amount of frontals I die to is aggravating. Ill stick with my range specs to basically go AFK in dungeons.

I guess i'm getting too old for this game. Outlaw feels like an ADHD spec which stresses me out during playing, the button mashing, buff tracking, running to keep up with the tank is annoying af.

As a outlaw main for a few expansions I’m sorry but your video is very untrue.
Yes the rework has brought some amazing much needed quality of life but it has also brought the stupidest rotation to outlaw. It is not smooth due to between the eyes and useing between the eyes purely on a stealth bar and it still goes on GCD etc.
AGAIN blizzard try to make things so much more complicated than it needs to be all they had to do is make it that dispatch does between the eyes during stealth……… any high outlaw rogue will agree this is what needs to happen than the idiotic mess it is currently
I absolutely agree. Outlaw in Legion and BFA was such a fun spec. The class design for almost every spec in SL/DF is horrible and bad for the game, overcomplicating things and filling bars with useless filler abilities. Shadow Dance itself shouldn't be available on outlaw and assa, as well as the covenant abilities on top of Legion/BFA abilities don't make any sense.
Outlaw is a pure weakaura spec and with the assa, dh and frost mage rework, they applied all those bad things to those specs as well. I don't see any improvement from the classdesign team towards the next expansion.
Easy answer: Cuz the Devs stopped playing DH and changed over to OR
Best part is the skill expression with outlaw compared to DH, if someone is pumping on an outlaw you know they're good
True but you can't jump around like a madman. Wish they'd add a third, slightly harder but still easy, dh spec. It's funny that even despite DF adding things for havoc to worry about, they still don't have much at all to worry about.

And that is totally fine my dude! Would 100% recommend assassination. Not sure if it has less buttons, but it plays slower and relies way less on procs and RNG
I completely disagree. Over time rogues went from having specs that were big hitters and combat that did lower hits but a lot more of them to the class where you push 7000 keys simultaneously in this carpal tunnel bs. I mained rogue for over a decade and can’t stand what it is now.

rogue class is not the best dps class/specc in the game! that is a huge lie or they would be consider S rank in M+. no rogue can beat a fury or arms warrior in dps on a M+ and warrior is not even one of the most stronger for M+

@@MarcelianOnline choose the dungeon and play outlaw rogue and I do with you in ur group with my warrior. In bosses fury destroy almost every class in game, AoE it's based in how much mobs the tank pull, if it's more than 5/6, fury wins, if its 10/11 targets arms reach 900k dps without a sweat.
