I am surprised they show as much as they do, on youtube. I have never seen a full episode, tho. From the best and worst compilations, I have a pretty good idea who won, and get to see all the relevant tattoos, kinda squashing any motivations to actually tune in. So cool on them for putting it out there, I guess.

I love how in early seasons it was "this one guy wants ribs? hardest canvas, totally crazy". And in later season Ribs is the name of the challenge 😅

Yes the network ended his contract over a blackface and racism scandal, with that comes legal image rights so I believe they can still use audio but not his image or clips of him

Wow. What's the healing process like for an armpit tat?
I’m the armpit “canvas” in this video -as you can see I was practically sleeping through the tattoo but healing it was awful! Having both done in one weekend made it impossible to use my arms for a week, the hair stubble was sharp and started growing back immediately, you’re supposed to keep them dry and clean but it’s impossible with sweat. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants a pit tattoo to wax 3 days before and also do one at a time!!!

I have both of mine too and it was just rough moving my arms haha. I’m a server and when I got my second pit done I couldn’t lift anything. Heals very quick though but the first 2/3 days are hell

My husband is loaded with tattoos and said his rib was the worst spot he’s ever gotten.
The ribs and the feet both hurt like a motherfucker for me. And I have a nerve in my left foot that randomly spasms at some of the most inopportune times. With that tattoo the spasm made my toes curl under which somehow made it hurt even more,

Makes a video about detailed tattoos with explanations how delicate the line work and technique must be -- shows tattoo for only 5 seconds ... It's useful to think about what topic one wants to cover with a video and then act accordingly. So this video title for example is more accurate like: "The Drama Behind Difficult Placement Tattoos That Went Surprisingly Well | Ink Master" as there is almost no watch time actually dedicated to the tattoos but almost the whole focus to the surroundings.

Shocker… people have different pain tolerances. It could also relate to size of the tattoo, line thickness, colour or black & white, time it takes, etc etc.

I don’t really care for the new ink master.I miss the old judges…the new ones give passes to artist that damage the skin,bad line work lack of saturation punching color in etc.
I am an artist, and don’t have nor want any tattoos (and don’t particularly like a ton of them all over anyone), but I sometimes enjoy watching this show because they’re pretty exceptional artists… and I have to say Ryan is a really beautiful lady even with all her tattoos.
