One of the most underrated workers in the business. The feuds between the Midnight Express and the Rock n Roll Express, Road Warriors, or Four Horsemen were works of art in the ring. Those guys could main event a card without the straps and still get over. RIP Beautiful Bobby Eaton.
And lets not forget the feuds with The Von Erichs and The Fantastics in WCCW promotions.

He was my cousin Best friend. My father was one of his best friends. I met several times he used to come to my great grandma house and eat he loved her homemade biscuits. He was from Huntsville Alabama. He was definitely a great wrestler and a good person. Rip the beautiful bobby Eaton

RIP Bobby Eaton. This caught me by surprise. I remember seeing him in Jimmy Hart's stable on Memphis Wrestling before the Midnight Express and was so happy to watch his career blossom the way it did. Still underrated in my book though.
His single runs as part of Jimmy's first family and Paulie's dangerous alliance were amazing. One of the best to ever do it.

It was sad that the siblings lost their parents nearly 2 months apart. Their mother who was the Daughter of legendary wrestler Superstar Bill Dundee passed on in June just before Bobby. May both rest in peace.🙏

For me, a signature match in the career of "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton was when him and Dennis Condry (The Midnight Express) took on the Road Warriors in the Night Of The Skywalkers Scaffold Match at Starrcade '86. That's the match that put him on the board with me. I hope his rest is peaceful.

I just came upon the news that pro wrestling has lost , in my opinion a true gentle soul and talent that will never be rivaled or duplicated. When I started to watch pro wrestling in the early to mid eighties, it was World Class Championship Wrestling and Mid-South Wrestling that were what my tv antenna could pick up. And I have always loved and been a fan of tag teams, my cousins had there favorites but I took my time and rooted for the fan favorites, but I watched closely when Jim Cornette and The Midnight Express came out to wrestle , both versions with Dennis Condrey and then Stan Lane and the constant outstanding quiet pro that was, is and always will be Beautiful Bobby Eaton. Some of the matches againist, The Rock N' Roll Express, The Road Warriors, and some of my favorites were againist The Fantastics, and so many more and I smiled when I got to see Arn Anderson and Bobby Eaton team together, and so many others that Bobby taught and worked with, and the Professional Wrestling World , for me will be missing Bobby Eaton and I can't speak for every fan, other than myself, and have his family and close friends in my prayers and I thank Bobby Eaton, for making pro wrestling so much better , and being an even better person . You will be missed Sir Bobby Eaton, may you Rest. In. Peace. , and again thank you for being one of the greatest tag team, and single pro wrestlers to ever lace up your boots . From one fan and hopefully many more , mere words can't describe what others, much more closer to you are feeling and I will not insult their feelings, but I have all of you in my prayers to, simply Thank You to all of those who've paved the path for today's pro wrestler's and never , ever forget the Legendary Men and Women who made this possible.

I had met Bobby several times in the past helping with local independent shows. Bobby was a GREAT person and great wrestler from my all time favorite tag team the Midnight Express. I have photos of myself with Bobby at house shows and he never failed to take the time out to speak with me and take a look at old NWA House and TV taping pictures that I had taken over the years. I was honored to be in attendance many times as both a young fan and in later years as a friend.... Including the infamous Scaffold Match against the Road Warriors. RIP my friend... I will see you on the other side.... Your friend "Chief".
Gonna try not to tear up while typing this out. I have been a wrestling fan from the age of 5 years old, I'm going to be 36 this year for context, one of the first matches ever shown to me by my uncle was midnight vs rock n roll. And I was hooked. I loved everything about what I saw. As a child I loved seeing the baby faces win and that big feel good moment but it always was based on how big of a heel the heels were I mean you won't get the same feeling from watching a squash or whatever. It was all about how bad the "bad guys" were. And there was no one badder than the midnight I loved seeing them get their asses kicked. It was not untill I was in my late teens early 20's that I really started to understand what was going on and once I did I went back and watched all of those old matches with the midnight and fell back in love with them for a completely different reason. I could see the work that was being put in there was no wasted movement when it came to beautiful bobby everything he did had purpose made sense and could be followed by ANYONE (and I say that as someone that took a while to understand what I was seeing lol.) It can NOT be over stated how good the man was in and out of the ring. He was a beautiful human being ( not knowing him personally but from all accounts he was peak humanity) the world lost an amazing person this past week and it hurts me on a deep level that he is gone.. ... Good bye Bobby Lee we love you.
I will always treasure the Midnights-Rock And Rolls rivalry, certainly the most heated tag team feud in wrestling history. R.I.P. Beautiful Bobby.

Thank God I got a chance to meet Bobby Eaton at a house show when Traditional Championship Wrestling was still operating. I was a able to get his picture and his autograph. I have never heard anyone in wrestling or outside of wrestling say anything bad about Bobby Eaton. Bobby Eaton Sir you will trying be missed and you will never be forgotten! One of the true legends of single and tag team wrestling! Rest In Peace Bobby Eaton and your wife Donna also which she passed away about a month ago! I am so sorry for the losses of Bobby and his wife Donna and prayers for their families!
