This dryer would be great if it was in a basement bunker. Otherwise, the buzzer will scare the shit out of you. Functionality is fine, except for that.
I agree. I live in senior complex and can’t wash and dry after 9:00 Noise Curfew. I could but it’s so loud I am sure it would wake neighbors. Is there sMe way to turn it down?
Not on this model. There’s not even a switch to turn it off. The wiring had to be disconnected. If you search online with your make & model & “buzzer,” there’s probably a video with instructions.

My Hotpoint dryer is just like that. It sometimes buzzes 2 or 3 times before cutting off. Too long and too loud. I need to disable it....

I am having the same problems, with my new hotpoint dryer. This buzzing is very annoying. 😑
It was horrible. As soon as the year warranty was up, my daughter disconnected it when she was visiting (she looked up how to do it online).
@Arm Bears I am doing that now. Mine is second hand and no warranty. I can’t keep it with that buzzer. What were designers thinking?

My GE dryer does the same thing but luckily it has a volume knob to turn it off.

Unfortunately there is no volume control and no switch to turn it off. The wiring has to be disconnected.
