    Thanks for the video! Yes, interlocking bricks are the future. They regulate the temperature in the building, especially a hot place like Ghana, it's better to use interlocking bricks for the home because they keep the house cool. And, they cut the expenses..

      The disadvantage is, conducting maintenance works is difficult. If you need to correct any plumbing or electrical faults, good luck!

    I noticed that most of his bricks were one color. Some places sell multiple colors. Are you going to start building with interlocking bricks?

    I’m deciding between brick, rammed earth, and containers. Which is the best for durability, environmental sustainability and cost?

    • @IshmealLamptey
      @IshmealLamptey  Před 10 měsíci +4

      I honestly wouldn't advice on containers due to our climatic conditions. Go for any of the two aside containers. My personal opinion.

      Containers are not functional in so many ways.
      Use interlocking bricks.

    “Creativity is not a purely human prerogative. The ability to invent, to respond in a way that is not programmed, is essential to survival. It is part of every living creature’s repertoire in its own degree. . . [but] this capacity has reached extraordinary heights in humans, because of our ability to imagine.”
    Iain McGilchrist, The Matter With Things. Adapting to change in the built environment is essential for our survival in the climate change debate. The earth is getting warmer with unimaginable consequences, and Ishmael's response to change could define his profession as a construction manager.
