I first encountered PWM on my old analogue synth, years ago. Back then I just thought it was for making interesting sounds.... It cames as a bit of a surprise, years later, when I found out that it actually had practical applications. :)
Always wanted to muck about with PWM especially to drive motors for a coil winding machine. Particularly interested in simple circuits that don't involve coding chips. Thanks.
