My friend brought the cube to school and we used to play with it the way back home. After learning to make the first side I thought to myself "I can make one side but solving the whole cube would be awesome". I learned to solve it and now my average is 30-40 seconds.
My best is 1minute 7seconds dayum it's hard to get that fast with the cube

I started cubing because of my uncle's cube. Didn't want to just display or cheat by braking it apart, so I start solving it. Uncle's 3x3 "yongjun cube?" to 4x4 and 5x5 "all engso cubes non-magnetic but slippery" as gift in my Christmas, and I solved 4x4. I will never forget the moment I solved 4x4. 5x5 to go, My fastest at 3x3 before is about more than a minute (1:26) and now 33.7 seconds. .:.. Thanks to my uncle's cube this might my future talent. I will remember him with his cube....::.; FUN FACT THAT I USE 4X4 AS 2X2!
A year ago I watched the Speedcubers with my gf. I said "If these guys can do it in 7 seconds then I should be able to learn to do it slowly." She said "You won't be able to."
Now I'm comfortably sub30 and getting better. Which is slow to most of you guys, but give me a break, I'm 34.

I started cubing when i saw a rubiks cube video which the channel name is *cube for speed* . I started to watch him more. After i finally got a rubiks cube i thought i couldn't do it and almost gave up. I watched alot of tutorials then finally solved it. I watched more tutorial and i average 2 minutes.

I wasn't good at solving a rubix cube. I had this rubix cube that's hard to move and can break it's parts easily, so I broke my rubix cube apart and solved it by putting back together. Everybody wins :D
I saw this one girl during an extra music lesson and she had a Rubik's Cube and I thought it was so cool solving a Rubik's Cube so that is why I started cubing

If you can solve a 5x5 you could solve bigger cubes. Its the same thing but just more time

I was cleaning up my room and found one never knew I had one me and my family was donated some stuff and I guess a rubix cube slipped in then I went to CZcams and it took 7 hours and screaming crying and watching
Basically my brother brought his cube to school and was solving it CONSTANTLY AND NOT STOPPING I thought it would be fun so he gave me a go, little did I know its harder than impossible and I BEGGED my mom to buy me a cube, when I got I heard Corner twist thing on the Internet, I started doing it after the Jason swap ALL THE TIMES and I still do :), and that's the story of Me CUBING

I had a Rubiks cube at home and my dad basically made me learn how and after learning to solve it in two minuites i bought my self a gan 356 m and started practicing then i started solving it in about 50 or 1 minuite. I then started improving to 40 seconds but then i lost 3x3. I started using my friends gan 11 m duo but i had to give it back. Then i bought my self a gan 12 but it broke like in a few days because it was fake. Once the gan 13 released i bought it and my average now is 20 or 28. I will buy my self a stackmat soon. but keep up the good work cuberazn

I started cubing because I think I saw it somewhere and it's very popular so my mom buy me a cube it's very hard to turn after that I got better cubes and learn to make one side and make patterns and I show it to my aunt and my aunt thinks that one day I'm going to solve one after that got a new cube again and I try to watch tutorials on yt I don't understand it so my aunt watched it and my aunt taught me how to solve it and now I can solve it but my aunt forgot how to solve the cube and I taught my aunt I went from 1:30 min too sub 30 in 1 year and my pb is 19 seconds ( 3x3)

My uncle gave me my first 3x3 Rubiks cube then I learn how to solve it.
But I want more other cubes so I buy a lot of cubes.
And that how I started cubing
i started because there were cubers at my school and i wanted to be cool like them so i learned how to solve and now i use 2 look cfop
I got the o2 cube and then I got really excited so I sat down and learned the 3x3
I just picked up a cube and learned how to solve it.
Then I thought I could do that faster.
Then I started to realize I need to advance my method to solve faster, so I did.
In the span of 2 - 3 months, I now do not do anything else besides cube, it’s payed off because now my pb for 3x3 is 21 seconds, and my pb average for 3x3 is 27 seconds.
I’m now currently learning skewb, 5x5, and square-1

I just saw a video about solving it, but that didn't help me and later I got my first speedcube as a gift from my mom (not on christmas). Then I solved it in the car on the way home, and I was so excited. P.S. the qiyi brand I got came with a paper on how to solve it. Then, I solved it in 3 minutes, 1 minute, and now after going through three more speed cubes (a DUNCAN brand and the phantom cube that got me my first ever sub 30 second solve and I finally beat my record of 31 seconds in october this year and I have only been cubing since April 2022, and I later got finally in december a sub 20 solve!!!!). AND On christmas I got a nexus Moyu cube that I love and I now have my record of 17 SECONDS!!!!!!! That is my origin story LOL. You're awesome Cuberazn!
