I agree with you. I also live here and just like the bells amusement park revival. I’m not holding my breath and just like how the outlet mall in Jenks got delayed because of the pandemic, until the park is complete. I’m not expecting it. I just hope we don’t get stuck with a half complete eyesore, if they actually start breaking ground on this.

It’s interesting a bunch of theme parks are building and opening soon. In central and central west of America. Adventures of Mattel in KC and Glendale Arizona 2026 opening for KC, 2024 in Arizona Gledale. It seems like we’re moving more central areas. More affordable and people can afford to go parks and drive in an RV or car, this will be would be great! Good accommodations a must! . Concern though tornado Alley 🌪️and we get bad weather in the Midwest all seasons. Need to build many shelters. For rv park and theme park guests can all fit in. Very challenging.

I would not hold your breath that this will be built anytime soon and it will certainly not be open in 2026 - already having zoning issues and local trouble and they haven't even started laying out property markers. A lot of pipe dreams and really cool artist renderings. The Reality is - its in the middle of nowhere and will be very hard pressed to get any type of ongoing crowds enough to keep it open. Time will tell but I would not book any flights to Tulsa just yet. or the rental car you will need to get to the park over an hour away.

They’ve run into issues partly because the city of Vinita has decided to annex into the city a bunch of big ranches that the local ranchers are none too happy about not being able to run cattle on because it’ll be officially city limits. I believe some legal action was about to follow against the city last I hear since they’ve been going cowboy on their zoning picking and choosing seemingly random areas to be apart of city limits. I know they’re some people really excited about this place, but for a lot of the local people this is already becoming a living hell having their livelihoods upended by the stroke of someone else pen.

And to all the comments comments about building this in Tornado Alley….
Disneyland is built in a fault zone and on ground prone to sinkholes. Disney World is built in Hurricane “alley”. Oklahoma City already has a theme park (as well as a water park), which was hit in 1998 and has had a few other near-misses. These rides are legally built to withstand these types of natural occurrences of the area that they’re located.
Not only that, but you can’t just not build something somewhere in fear that something might happen, someday. There is no safe place in this world, between Mother Nature and humans, sadly. So we might as well have a good time while we have time. :)

Electropolis actually looks very similar to the old menlow park where Thomas Edison demonstrated the first electric lightbulb. He demonstrated the idea by wiring the entire place with electric lights and a big bulb at the top of the tower showing how different the world would become just with his invention. Nicola Tesla was there actually learning which helped him understand the concept of AC power. Unfortunately the two were scientific rivals often bickering on what electricity type was best. Tesla won due to AC being able to be stepped down at substations while DC could not. Very few of the Edison lightbulbs are still around actually only a single one is still alight and that’s at a firehouse in nyc with a webcam on it 24/7. That bulb doesn’t really give off that much light at all because of the wiring compound which isn’t tungsten but it still glows somehow.

I’ve watched most of your videos but I haven’t come across one of you at Frontier City in Oklahoma City. If you ever find yourself in OKC for some reason or another, it’s definitely a very underrated theme park. It’s small but mighty and I’m so glad that Six Flags didn’t change the originality of it when they purchased it a couple years back.

I share your enthusiasm Shawn, but, I'd have preferred a known established entity like Cedar Fair or Herschend Family Entertainment (my choice) be behind something like this, not Six Flags. First, out of the gate, the RV Park. I know this area of Oklahoma well Shawn, there's nothing there brother. Cart before the horse I feel. Who's going to book a RV park in a place in the middle of nowhere. If it was my money, build the park start to finish, not in phases, and include the RV park to complete the same time the park is finished. When you drag it out over years the funding you initially raise is worth less and less each year

My guess is the Charlottes web ride is based on the book which is a good piece of children’s storytelling. The jackalope coaster is based on an old creature of western lore called a jackalope which is actually a rabbit or wild hare with antlers which is completely harmless but actuality it’s a rabbit or hare that was infected with a fungus that has odd growths everywhere, my guess is the ride has lots of bunny hops to simulate that hopping motion.

Actually this park was supposed to be Disney’s America theme park which never was built due to unavailable land, Disney was still looking last I checked on it. It was supposed to have rides and stuff based on classical American history but also a huge baseball stadium. Walt Disney himself created the concept but it never got to fruition. I guess someone beat him to it. I worry though as Oklahoma is right in the middle of Tornado Alley and all the hard work could be gone and the park will go into ruin.

No way in hell this is getting off the ground as is. It's in a horrible location with nothing around it, not enough people to run a park of this scale, very poor weather conditions a good chunk of the year, $2 Billion isn't enough money to fund a project of this scale, etc. It sounds nice on paper but the reality is it's just not gonna happen.
