I worked at a car shop 10 years ago and noticed a UTA cd case in a customer’s vehicle. I looked them up when I got home out of curiosity and can’t be happier that I did. Their music has changed my life.
The album “Abyss” was especially meaningful to me. I had recently left a cult I was sucked into for about a decade, and the story of escaping the authority of the matriarch became like my life’s theme music for 2 years. I still can’t listen to “Faster Than Light” without crying when the chorus comes on, “Fly, to forgive my past, to move on at last.” It always helped me when I felt a sense of regret over how many years I had wasted in such a toxic environment. It made me feel like there was something to run towards, not just run away from. And the lyrics of the title track too, the part where she says, “open my heart up with wonder and hope” was like a prayer for me almost.
Well anyways this band is great and I feel so thankful that I discovered them in such a random way. These last few years have been hard, but they would have been a lot harder without such awesome music to carry me through on my worst days. Thank you!!
We are so glad to hear our music has helped you get through this! It means so much to us and we hope our music will continue to inspire you to look to the future with an open heart ❤
Wow, good on ya, it takes amazing strength and resilience and especially self-awareness to get out of a situation like that. Genuinely happy for you.
@@UnleashTheArchers Rock on! 🤘🏻
Best story in ages in a YT comment, well done, keep growing!
What a beautiful guitar!
That guitar looks gorgeous and I'm impressed by Andrew's smooth picking hand, not to say anything about his virtuoso fretting!
Three weeks. Can't wait for the new album.
I love UTA ! Thank you for inspiring me to move forward and find strength in difficult times.
Andrew is my favorite musician on the planet! That is all. ❤
Aww thanks!
Heck yeah, play it Andy!
I love you guys, keep making amazing music!
Lettsss ggooooo!!!!!!🤘
Andrew you re on fire man! Great work in your last UTA album! Congrats!!
An UTA themed guitar sounds amazing!
Tyler from Vigilant built me a M2M 7-string about a year and a half ago and it’s a BEAST. My number 1 for sure!
Awesome. That passage at 2:40 shows the maturity as a musician to sit back and serve the song rather than just PLAY. The two songs released so far are fantastic!
This band writes such killer music, thanks for sharing. Beautiful guitar
Super tight player 🎸😍🤘🔥🎶
Hello Brittney and UTA!!
I just watched the interview with Tank The Tech and I wanted to swing by and tell you that I've been enjoying your work ever since I found you through The Charismatic Voice a couple years ago. I'm sorry to hear that y'all endured so much over the new album and AI. I'm still on the fence with my own opinions on the use of AI, but none the less, I'm still enjoying your latest music and videos and appreciate the work you put into it. Stay amazing and I hope to catch a live show sometime!!! 🏹❤
They need to collaborate with SHEET HAPPENS. We need tab books, prints and picks please!!!
Man's always on fire. Amazing playthrough
Love these, Andrew! I still rewatch your Cleanse the Bloodlines playthrough. These are just gold.
A gorgeous guitar and such an amazing track. Thanks for sharing this and your exquisite skills with us, Andrew!
It is calming watching you play....so calm and smooth!
The guitar looks awesome, the playing impeccable, and the new album sounds great so far! Great work Trevor, Andrew, and all of UTA!
Hell yea brother!
New content? Hell yes!
Hell yeah this is so awesome!!!! 🤗👍🤘🔥
And Thank you for the awesome music UTA!!! 👍🤘🔥
It's an amazing guitar!! Was awesome to see it in person! Thanks for this great video! \m/
This is the absolute best band out there. They're not global superstars acting like they're elevated humans---they're just some guys and gals to who like music and put out absolute *bangers*. Love you guys so much, so many memories tied to your music. Hope to one day see you live.
UTA has topped every single end of year recap since I discovered the band and I am so keen to belt out this album when it's out.
This channel deserve millions of subs
Phenomenal playing, phenomenal guitar, and phenomenal piece of music, Andrew! Another banger from y'all. :D
Killer playing Andrew! I’ve heard of your band before but hadn’t gotten around to checking you guys out yet. I will be now, I like what I hear. I just started rocking a 7 string Schecter last summer after playing for 35 years and loving it, it’s never too late!
FANTASTIC
Waiting impatiently for the new release.
Now thats a sales pitch! so glad UTA is back, cant wait for the album!
Wonderful! Would love to see the drums play along someday too :) can't wait for the new album!
For some bands, it`s always refreshing to see artists play a "cheaper" signature or artist model, take Matt Heafy with his Epiphones for example. But SADLY uta is still a "small" band, so seeing Andrew`s excitement over his custom made guitar still brings me a great deal of joy, well deserved for sure. Really hope to see you guys tour Norway some day.
Such a good song. Glad I discovered UTA
Gorgeous instrument; and excellent playing!
Gotta love that neoclassical solo 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Best band on the planet. My most anticipated album of the year by a long shot.
He is so freaking smooth! And a master of economy of motion!
The driven guitar mix cuts through better here than the actual song IMO.
Amazing job, Andy!
Nice - sounding and looking great! - Cheers
Man I love Andy and the whole group. Probably some of the nicest people in the game. Andy's skill and knowledge on guitar is truly inspiring. Makes it look so easy and you can always see his passion shine through. After being a drummer my whole life and envying guitarists he's inspired me to pick up guitar again.
Beautiful guitar, sick new songs. Privileged to be a part of the new wave of Power Metal movement. 🤘🤙
Damn... this is awesome 👏👏👏👏👏👏
SICK FOOTY!
Tealy Dan?! Ha. love it. I'm ready for the album! pre-ordered.
🙌
Awesome, Andrew !!!! Please come to Calgary AB. Cheers from the motherland 😊🇨🇦
I ADORE THE COLOR :)
Very dim bag-est solo but 🤘 freaking awesome 🤘 enjoy your playing, keep the hits coming
Can't wait to see Andy shred that guitar live!
Such a sick video, can't wait to see you play live in Vic in May!
Nice one
🤯
Love this song. Wonder why you guys didn’t write the whole thing in 7/8 time signature like the opening.
Sweet guitar !!! Can't wait to see you play in New Zealand
ps Please play "Cleanse the Bloodlines"
🤘
🤘🙏🤘Fracking Primtastic 🤘🙏🤘That neck is gorgeous 🤘🙏🤘Fracking Primtastic 🤘🙏🤘
Yea brother🧜♂️

I'm just here for some bad ass shredding. I was learning guitar when I was a kid but forced to quit because I was told the music I was playing was the Devil's music.
Hope you’re at the Vic guitar show. Would love to say hello.
this guitar is sick im jealous lol
Mr. K.. Do you lower the G to F# in either the 6 or 7 string tuning?
Nah I just stick to B standard.
Rarely does a band get better with each album, and I genuinely didn't think it was possible with Archers, but then _this_ song was released. Then the brilliance of "Ghosts In The Mist"...🙏.
Not sure if any of the band will read this, but if you do, please check out the reactions to "Awakening" (czcams.com/video/0VGmOTD3OzA/video.html&pp=ygUfZGFuYXMgZmFpdGggdW5sZWFzaCB0aGUgYXJjaGVycw%3D%3D) and "Abyss" (czcams.com/video/LTpfko7niZg/video.html&pp=ygUfZGFuYXMgZmFpdGggdW5sZWFzaCB0aGUgYXJjaGVycw%3D%3D) from the Dana's Faith channel - if you haven't seen them, obviously😄. UTA was also the younger sister Mia's first time seeing a live band (I think they were too late for the meet & greet🤔).
Thank you for the 🤘😌 music (and all the instrumental tracks😋!). 🖤🏹
Also, the guitar looks great🤘.
Yes we’ve seen both reactions! We love them! Would love to do a co-react someday!
@@UnleashTheArchers Ha! That would blow their (by "their", I mostly mean Mia=🤪) minds😄. They haven't posted for a while, though. Probably school stuff🤔. Thanks for the reply - I know I shouldn't be surprised, but still...🤘😌🏹🖤
[I did pass the reply on to them, hopefully they see it]
Wish I could afford a guitar that nice, but I can't play well enough to do it justice anyway. Hope you guys come anywhere near me sometime soon.
If you are in North America, look for the powerwolf tour, UTA is touring with them on the NA leg of the tour.
@@13Nagash13 I’m aware. They just aren’t coming anywhere near me, and I was born legally blind so I can’t drive. If they were within a couple hours I could maybe find someone to drive me, but not like 5 hours, I’d feel like shit for even asking.
Tealy Dan? Pretty sure you'd not want to use it like the original Steely Dan.
Tabs?
Least difficult andrew solo
Sorry, I couldn't get passed the gear commercials and sponsorships. Are you still artists? Are you struggling musicians in a time of uncertainty? Please tell me how you balance between the two. No one else knows!
or just ignore my post like everyone else
I won't ignore your post. Of course they are struggling musicians. Unless you are a big band you are struggling. The business is tough. Artists no longer make money selling albums. Streaming services pay next to nothing. They can only rely on touring and touring is getting more and more expensive. M. Shadows from A7X was explaining last year how expensive touring had become. And A7X is a big arena band. UTA is an amazing but "small" band. They have 280K monthly listeners on Spotify (A7X has 10M monthly listeners, Metallica has 25M). Saw UTA 6 months ago in a 700 people venue (great show BTW). So please don't blame them for trying to capitalize on a sponsorship. Make sure you buy tickets and buy some merch. I have my tickets for the Powerwolf / UTA tour this fall.
@@mountainousterrain1704 Kudos to you for not dismissing the comment and answering with sincerity.
I am so sorry. You got me at the end of a long night drinking because I just broke my bike. I mean no disprespect. Im drunk
@@mountainousterrain1704 Not only this, but why should the band need to be struggling musicians? Why SHOULDN'T they take gear sponsors? This is their career, their livelihood. Why does taking on a sponsorship mean you can't be an artist? I see the person's second comment about being drunk and having a bad night but it's an assholish, unnecessary sentiment overall.
Stop drinking
Song is SO good. Psyched for Phantoma.
