Very cool interview. Thanks for uploading. Philthy was one hell of a character ^^ The true embodiment of hard rock ^^ Critics calling them dumb can't have the slightest edge of knowhow in this world.

The guy doing the voice over here knew fuck all about Motörhead tbh. Rock n roll band…not heavy metal. Lemmy himself said this a million times.

The point is it doesn't matter.

"the guy doing the voice over" is now on
      Fox News.
      true.
      his name is
      John Roberts.
      he was called
      JD Roberts
      back then.
      this was a good show
      out of Toronto.
despite the embarrassing 'hosts', we still got to hear from the cool bands that we were loving in those great times.
      ps
      not a voice-over.
he was in the room. just off camera.

I wouldnt call any Metal "simple". All forms of Metal are very technical. Punk on the other hand is simple and usually uses just 3 chords.

So you’re gonna blast people for generalizing and stereotyping one genre while simultaneously generalizing and stereotyping another? Kinda defeats the purpose, wouldn’t you say?

Try listening to punk from Scandinavia and Japan, they literally make the UK and hell even the US punk scene sound like garage rock!
