That one awkward moment when your boyfriend hears you listening to this song, gives you a mischievous smirk, and makes the wrong assumption about what you're into...XD
This was one of the many songs I grew up when the decade was forming, and I loved it then and I do still today. I was only 8 when it was released. I didn't know what the song was about and I didn't give a shit. Even if someone told me, I maybe would've been surprised, but I still wouldn't have cared. The reason why I loved this song as kid and a lot people did as well was the music itself. The industry in 2010 was so much different then than what it is today. The sound was had a very juicy vibe with it, no matter the song, and it transferred from song to song, regardless what each one was about. This song in particular had a banger of an instrumental, and the vocals were perfect. The rhythm of the lyrics and how it flowed with the song made it to the point where kids like me enjoyed it a lot. That's why a lot of the dirty songs of the late 2000s and early 2010s were so good, was because of the sound. and quite honestly, I miss them. The censorship of the topic in the songs, whether done by radio edits or studio recordings and lyric writing, alongside the amount of interpretation the topic gets with younger audiences, allow for creativity. That creativity opportunity allows artists and producers to put their skills to the test in an interestingly unusual manner. That's why the music in the latter half of the decade has lost its edge. More songs like this, overall a better sound too, can help the industry to return to producing bangers like this on a weekly basis. That's just me tho 😂
