Everything about the song is great, the lyrics by Vayalar Sir, the composition by Devarajan Master, the impeccable rendition by Yesudas Sir and the underrated instrumentation by RK Sekhar Sir, especially the flutes after 'abhinivesam'.
Been enjoying this song for the past 52 years, and still my all time favourite. The best composition in Mohana raga by the one and only Devarajan.
