This video shows you how to easily make a shade for your canoe out of lightweight PVC pipe and fittings. This is very useful for hot days when you and maybe your family are out on the lake and you don’t want direct sun on you or your belongings. This also creates a frame for a cover your whole canoe if it’s raining and you need items in the canoe kept dry. This design uses some of our completely original items that are still pretty new on the market like the Slip Tee Fitting, and the Grip Clamps.

is there a way to adapt for an Oru Kayak, which has much more narrow sides? And to have it be not the full length, half, to pack it in a car and assemble at site?
