Good job on the stump. You did a lot better job on that stump than the guy I recently hired to grind four stumps. I paid him $550 dollars to grind four 30 to 36 stumps. He finished all four in less than an hour and left all the wood shavings wherever they landed. I ended up having to deal with all the wood shavings myself.
I thought he charged way too much and would NEVER hire him again. I was trying to find someone to grind several stumps at our cabin, but he failed miserably.
Here is my advice. When you are starting out, give your first few customers a great deal. Make sure they are completely satisfied with your work, before you leave the work site, and ask them to tell their friends about you you and the services you offer. Word of mouth is the best advertisement you can get.
Best of luck with your new business.

While it's tempting (and this is your house) putting all the shavings back in the hole guarantees you'll have a pretty substantial low spot there soon as the wood decomposes and the dirt settles. Ideally you rake up and remove the chips and put back top soil If you bring a bucket or two of dirt with you, it's not hard to make it look very professional. This really just depends on where your client base is. Bigger city, you'll want to take the extra care. Rural, maybe not. Just a tip!

I had someone I knew that had a tree service business. He charged me $400 for four stumps each a little larger than yours. When I came home, I could not tell where they were anymore. I think I got a deal although I don't really know.
On your business, make sure your customers understand exactly what you are going to do and for how much. Here is where you can be different. Maybe after a few months (you decide) you should contact your customer(s) and check if the job is ok and if he had conversations with people who might need your services. (You can refresh their momory on the things you do and don't do) It's like plantind a seed. I think this will work in the long run. Good luck and God bless you and your family.

Nice video. I’m looking at the summit. I’ve watched the 50 hour service video. Didn’t look too bad. How did it compare to the 2 series JD?
I’ve noticed the newer summit release have the loader connections out on the outside/top of the loader arm. Not sure if this is good or bad.
Any insight on the summit is appreciated.
