What a beautiful machine. After having a few dirt bikes and enduros in my pre-licensed teens this was my very first street bike... Back in 1982 I bought a 1975 550K which I rode for a few years before going to a 1980 750K... These are definitely great bikes
What a great little bike. Sounds fantastic
There was a big difference in the bikes before 1977 and 78,79,80. I bought a 1977 Z 28 with a bunch of miles on it and in 1982 when I was 17 and the 1979 Z28 had all of the changed ground effects, like the Trans- Am did. The suspension for the two stroke flights through the air and landing began with the 1978 Maico and with fits and starts in 1980 the RM and the YZ were the model T's of the production two stroke fun machine. Skateboards became popular in 1976,77 to.
Awesome bike. Reminds me of my 1979 Suzuki GS550E.
I had one in the 90's that was blue and in perfect condition. I sold it for $400 because it's just an old 20yo bike that no one cares about. I loved that bike.
That's such a beautiful bike. Wish I had the extra cash to buy it. It's unbelievable how you put your team together with the best technicians and crew in the business.
To say the NEMM and Kaplan Cycles is GREATNESS is an understatement. So commendable how you worked your ass off to build the best motorcycle channel out there.
Your museum is on my bucket list, Ken. In fact your museum and Matt's Wheels Through Time museum are the only things on my bucket list...!!!
Beautiful bike, I have just restored a 77 CB550k and now looking for a 500 because why not!!. Cheers from Australia.
What a beauty!
I built a hard tail chopper with that 550/4 as the engine it had 4 single slash cut pipes and a cast iron tractor seat with bus valve springs as a comfort aid!
Man it was a beast!
Stunning!
The Mic Catch. Perfect.
Smooth engine
Man that looks good,perfect commuter.
I used to ride a late '70's CB350Four from Ivoryton, Ct. to Willimantic Ct. & back again every weekend (sunday night & fri. night) for college in '82. It was a friends bike... we'd trade rigs.... I'd give him my truck for the week (M-Fr., work) while I stayed at college for the week not needing my truck. That bike was slower than a snail but it was fun & got a lot of street miles under my belt at age 20. I wanted to put a Kerker 4 into 1 header on it....
Sounds awesome! My dad had a 77 when I was a kid. Same color, but was Super Sport with 4-1 exhaust. I just love the old Honda sohc 4's. Again, beautiful bike!!
Damn that is sweet
Sharp looking classic. Sounds like it hauls ass! I love the dual pipes on each side. Isn't this bike one of Justin's bikes?
Sounds amazing!

Bike sound's really nice and what a beautiful bike 👍
Yes nice bikes, I've had one 550 and a 500. But what can happen is that third gear suddenly stops working. With both bikes of mine anyway.
i love your hondas my brother...great vlogs....

Just so gorgeous. Modern bikes are so crap it hurts my head.
That is a pretty bike for a Honda YAMAHA RULES!!!
It doesn't but okay 😔 😕
Yamaha is obsessed with close-ratio Transmissions. Requires constantly shifting. Gets annoying
