If you happen to find a metal slow cooker insert it while thrifting it will work nicely for additing humidity atop the wood stove. I keep one on a cast iron trivet and it works well. The treats look delicious!!

What is the green thing on the back of the couch with a small antenna. I didn't know you had a stove now I'm happy u have many regular comforts to cook on! Does the solar power run all of those things alone. You kids have made a nice comfy home for yourselves. Very proud of you! When it's finished it will be wonderful. The green thing is a radio, and the stove we converted to run on propane. The fridge, mixer, and deep fryer take a lot of power. We were able to get through it all but had to charge back up with the generator when we finished.
This should be a yearly tradition!
