- Welcome to the 1st Episode of the World Of Whaley Podcast where we talk to non other than the legend himself, Aaron Hadlow. Aaron is a 5X world champion and a 2X King Of The Air winner. He is probably the man to hold the most ever podiums in our sport and he still continuous to compete and chase those podiums after over 25 years of Kitesurfing.
Aaron is the reason I got into kitesurfing some 20 years ago. Also the reason I won’t have a handle on my board. What a ledge, true gent of the sport! KOTA needs this man.
Started kiting in 2004 and this man was THE reference! Legend!

This was super interesting. Sorry to hear that the rivalry with Kevin was so serious beyond pure competitiveness. One could suspect it from hints in the old documentaries, but still sad. I wished we could see more from Aaron on CZcams. I guess there is more on Facebook (which I am not on anymore, so can't really tell), but judging just from CZcams videos, Kevin seems to pretty much have the best time of his life in the past few years while Aaron seems semi-retired. It would be great to have a renewed On the Loose; I don't think it would fail because of the changed media landscape (as Aaron said in this video) or because Aaron and Ruben aren't kids anymore, you'd just have to be relaxed and have fun doing it, and everyone will enjoy watching it.

Nice Podcast. :) It would be so nice if you could advance the format and ad some film footage here and there, to talk about. Just like the pinchmysaltshow ist doing it. How nice would it be to see young Aaron riding while you are talking about the old times.

Very nice interview, I was also a huge fan of Arron Hadlow back then, still today I guess. It's cool to learn some things I didn't know about his kiteboarding journey. The oula oup harness 🤣, crazy. I would like to see that. I went streight to watch Invent and Calibrate after the interview 😃.

@@berndpeterson9897 yes and no. Your screen has to be active with CZcams. So if I want to follow my GPS track while listening to Liam interviewing Aaron, I cannot. It would be great on a specific plateform (Deezer, Anchor, Spotify.....)
