As someone who is looking for a good lip liner, already a creedo customer, and someone with a horribly uneven lip line that also doesn't look respectable without blurring it, that exa lip liner sounds perfect for me 😅
Lash Idole is one of only two mascaras that have ever entered my makeup I am loyal to list. It doesn’t smudge, flake or cause irritation to my eyes, and it can be built up plenty without becoming a thick, gooey mess. Enjoy! Also, you look stunning. ❤
This was a great video. I loved the eyelook. That's a fave of mine. I think the Rituelle De Fille Black Orb liners work in this way. Sadly I can't wear those anymore, I think I'm sensitive to the essential oils they use in the formula. I have found that the Sydney Grace cream shadows in a tube, are much less posh in their packaging but they don't have any nonsense in them, and they are 1/3 the price to boot...

A quick guess on the Lancome packaging: cushion foundations just haven't gained traction in the US and maybe they had already produced the packaging but didn't see a good business opportunity with the product they originally intended for it. Teint Idole came in a cushion compact in the US for a hot minute around 2017 but it was quickly discontinued.

I just moved into a new flat a few days ago - haven't even been here a week yet - and I finished unpacking and organizing and sweeping the floor etc tonight. I think I must have suffered temporary insanity, because by the time I finally sat down after getting the flat looking all nice, it was almost 2am, and I had been working on the flat nonstop for 9 hours without eating or drinking or taking any real breaks. When that sunk in, it was as if ALL of my energy was just instantly sucked out of me again, and I felt more exhausted than I have in a pretty long time.
So honestly - this video was the PERFECT video to eat a little late-night meal to (don't like to eat at 2am, but I hadn't eaten for about 12 hours, and I was so exhausted I was trembling. Couldn't go to bed before eating...) and do skincare to rid myself of tidying and cleaning-dust...
You have a very soothing way of being that is always juicy and relaxed, I think, and never fails to make me feel calmer.

Lancome literally makes my fav mascaras. I can't not use them. On me, the Lash I'dole is somehow water-resistant even though it isn't labelled as so. The other mascara I really love is the Hypnose mascara. But Lash I'dole is my number 1 holy grail never fail mascara
I don't find myself often being really disappointed when I can't get a brand in Australia, I feel like Merit is maybe one of the only brands I can't get easily that I feel that about now. I feel like back in the day in 2013 when the Lancôme counter was one of the few places I could get makeup then I would have been all over that mascara but now I just know more so wouldn't pick it up.
I’m sure eventually they’ll open up to shipping more. I mean, they are still relatively new.

Hannah, I’d love to see you try Lush makeup. They’re Lush Lashes mascara is my favourite! It builds up and doesn’t smudge on my oils eyelids. Their lipsticks are also super up you’re alley (grungy, satin and creamy). Please consider! ❤

I really wanted to try the Merit Solo eyeshadows but they contain Chamomile and Calendula (both from the Asteraceae family aka ragweed). If you have seasonal allergies (so many people do) this could cause allergic reactions. I don’t think I’ve ever tried these ingredients within makeup, but I have in face lotions and other beauty products that caused itching. Not sure why they would put such a strong allergen in an eye product… ? I’ll still try them, because I love the brand. Just beware if you also have ragweed allergies!

I might have to check out those Merit shadows. I was disappointed in the longevity of the CT cream I got, and I love the Auric duo I have but they are very expensive.

The Merit shadows look so pretty but so different from the website, I thought Social was like a greyish lilac mauve and here it looks taupe, they're still really pretty though. Thank you for sharing!
I do think they look pretty different from the listings on the site and I'm really glad I got the chance to review these in advance so that I could show that. But I also think it has something to do with skin undertones-Social will probably pull more purple on some people than it does on me!

The lash idol mascara is amazing in the waterproof formula for those straight lashed people. It will hold a curl beautifully. You will need Nivea biphase eye make up remover to take it off though.

The Refy lip gloss! I am loving the Sepia and the Rosewood glosses. I also bought the Sepia liner, and I'm still trying to figure it out. It is a stunning color, but it takes a little work to get it right. Definitely creates a much more vampy look on me.

Please try the new Chanel blush in that mauve shade with the beige Chanel emblem. Kackie said it’s a desaturated mauve that almost goes grey and I need to know what you think

Not expecting content anytime soon but I’ve just watched Kat/Kitsch snitch in-depth review of the new Alma Viva collection and thought of HLP. It’s a cool toned collection with its challenges but there is a gorgeous black sparkling shade for a grungy smoky eye.

idk the about-face eye paints are incredible and only 16, come in great shades and seem more blendable than the merit pots so i'm not as excited is i thought i'd be. there are tons of really great matte shadow pots and sticks already available. i'd love to see their take on shimmer/glitter.
