Such wonderful memories of another time. I think this is what is missing in :The Hobbit", that feeling of comradery. It was a different New Zealand then too. I really hope they all keep in touch still.
I did some acting once. The camaraderie is incredible. 'There was no joy like the finding of the gold country, and no pain like the pain of losing it'.
The picture with all the farmers was from a Pheasant Shoot near Penrith, Cumbria. Not keen on the shooting part..but my Dad's mate was a barman at the pub they went to. He said Elijah Wood got ticked off for jumping a bar-stool. He also said they were lovely guys!
