I think she has the full package, so it is a very very strong participation. The song structure is perfect, it is also very original, her voice is flawless, and her personality omg is everything. I would buy anything she sells 😍 I am so addicted to the studio version.

"Ai Coração" is not simply a song about an unspoken passion; we can equally interpret it as a song about anxiety and depression; and against that nothing like merrily singing and dancing. Interpreted like this, the result is a hymn to joy!

Being an up tempo catchy and funny song with kusturica beat (Balkan), and also Mediterranean and Iberian rhythms, it will resonate with many people from different countries and generations. In Portugal, the public's support was massive... It will go to the Final and will be in the Top5 because it has a stong jury appeal. Mark my words. This on the stage in Liverpool is going to make a huge impact and galvanize the crowd.
Mimicat and Ai Coração should be in Eurovision final and be voted to win.

O que tenho visto das reações, às músicas portuguesas que Portugal tem levado ao Eurofestival, é que provoca aos comentadores reações que outras músicas não provocam. Isto é, como essas músicas têm sido muito ricas em sonoridade, e em elementos da cultura portuguesa, deixam sempre os comentadores com alguma dificuldade em se expressarem.... Como dizemos em Portugal: essas músicas têm dado um nó no cérebro de muitos comentadores.
Só os que não tem cultura musical, não conseguem ver a qualidade, vocal e da sonoridade, de "Aí coração" de Mimicat....
(Eu sou insuspeito. O meu gosto pessoal é o Hard Rock, e Heavy Metal)

Well, I live in the US, and Broadway shows and musicals are still very popular...watching this performance feels very much like a Broadway performance...There are songs that are still heard by mainstream audiences, like the song 'Memory' from the musical Cats, which is a classic, and more recently, 'Lady Marmalade' by Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, and P!nk, these are perfect examples that broadway show performance or cabaret song types are still acceptable and enjoyed by the masses. However, Mimicat is in a very difficult semi with a bunch of good electronic pop songs, but there are also other not-so-memorable pop songs...so I hope she can create an amazing atmosphere and stage it brilliantly because let's face it, this is a TV show created for TV audiences, the visual spectacle will be important! I believe they can pull it together and sail thru the final.

People also supposedly didn’t like ballads back when Salvador went to Kyiv, and yet, he won. Then again, from a vocal standpoint, his was probably one of the best vocal performances ever in the history of the ESC, and if you watch his Abbey Road medley from the FdC you’ll be able to revisit just how versatile he is… But Mimicat is a great singer in her own right, and if she starts doing viral versions, singing other stuff, etc., she may conquer the public not just through this performance but through the sheer force of her charisma. 🤷♂️
