    I have had my Starlink since April used it from country Victoria to Brunette Downes in the Northern Territory and places in between for 4 months great but I never seen speed as low as that you had my lowest was 97 to 264 the highest pricy but as a 76 year old to have internet access and phone service it’s cheap and with the roam service you only have to pay month by month I am home now probably want use it till next April I was lucky I got mine in March on special for $299

    How far away can you walk away from the antenna or router before it doesn't work anymore?
    Thanks for all the information 🥂

    I have a solar system in my remote cabin in Canada. Cabin runs mostly on 12 volt DC but have a 175 watt inverter. Do you think that is sufficient for this application and my laptop? Mostly summer usage so plenty of sunlight for my panels.

    Thank you for sharing. That is an amazing. I have one question. Do we need to have any internet plan to connect with? Or just only StarLink devices. Thanks you Jay

      Hey jay we haven’t paid for the first month yet as we think it’s free first month as we haven’t needed to pay yet but after that it’s around $170 a month which you can pay as you need it so if you are remote one month you can choose to pay and the next month you can decide to freeze it hope that helps

    Drifta sell a great canvas storage bag specifically desinged for your starlink dish and all other bits n pieces. It;s not too expensive. I use it myself

    Hey guys. We are travelling Aus next year and I am working on the road. I can see that STARLINK ROAM is not to be used whilst driving? The STARLINK MOBILITY is $5000.... Are you using this while driving or only when you are stopped? Thanks!

    • @ryan.and.kayleigh
      @ryan.and.kayleigh  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Hi we don’t use it while driving as for us editing doesn’t need internet, we only use it when set up at camp

    Mbps is megabit per second (not byte)
    MBps is megabyte per second.
    So 55/8 = 6.875 megabyte per second.

    I don’t understand why ppl don’t think it will work in remote places. It’s satellite.

    • @everythingpony
      @everythingpony Před 19 dny

      The issue is because there's some areas that will get you banded or your account suspended. You can't take it everywhere That's why people are taking it places to see where it won't work and before you go "that's not true" look it up. You'll find people who have had their roaming data plan disabled or suspended and then left them in the middle of nowhere
