I hope it's a hit on Broadway and maybe win a lot of Tony Awards!
You guys are bringing us joy and happiness. Good luck on the Boop journey!
So before there was Barbie, there was Betty Boop. Looking forward to hearing the music. This show definitely has talented musicians working on this show!
❤❤❤ so can't wait to see this with davids music gunna be the best musical EVA
Been waiting for this to come to fruition since david foster teased it in "Hit Man Returns" concert with "Say You Remember It" over a decade ago . 😅
Will it come to Broadway soon?🤞🤞🤞🤞
Yes
Hmm wonder why this got deleted and reposted? The original upload had clips of TikTok’s of people cosplaying Betty Boop? Wonder if that caused trouble.
If this makes it Broadway, I'll be surprised if it lasts longer than 4 months. Who is going to fork out Broadway bucks to see this forgotten artifact of pop culture? The character is far from ubiquitous.
Imagine thinking one of the most iconic, recognizable, merchandized, commercially successful and globally beloved animated characters of all time is somehow a pop-culture artifact. One thing David Foster and Jerry Mitchell are NOT known for is putting out flops. Ironically one thing Betty Boop IS known for is being international and ubiquitous. She's been popular for almost a century and her image is literally found on every product imaginable on every corner of the earth. This show has great reviews, if it gets to broadway it will undoubtedly be a hit.
They're going to woke this up, too. Why do you think the tryout is in Chicago?
The “tryout?” You don’t know much about theatre, do you?

noun
try·out ˈtrī-ˌau̇t
Synonyms of tryout
: an experimental performance or demonstration: such as
: a performance of a play prior to its official opening to determine response and discover weaknesses
You’re so confidently incorrect in your assumption!
Virtually every musical had an out-of-town tryout before going to Broadway. The last thing anyone wants is another colossal failure like “New York, New York”.
They just opened up yesterday to a standing ovation sold out crowd
Its not a try out
