My first time on a ScotRail Inter7City set since January 2023 was on set HA10 with power cars 43182 and 43130 on the 1A39 1041 from GLQ to ABD calling at STG, PTH, DEE, BYF, MON, CAN, ARB, MTS, LAU, STN, PLN and ABD. At Broughty Ferry, Monifieth and Portlethen, the conductor is only allowed to open the door next to the accessible toilet in Coach B. Upgrading to first class onboard these sets is £15. Glasgow Queen Street is the only station on the ScotRail network where they use RA dispatch where the guard waves a green flag rather than doing 2 on the buzzer. The guard can still do 2 on the buzzer at Glasgow Queen Street but only when needed. This does not apply to any 318, 320 or 334 operated route as the 318s, 320s and 334s all have driver operation throughout. Only these 380 and 385 routes are guard operated while others have driver operation throughout:
EDB to DUN, DBL, GLC, GLQ and NBW
GLC to BRR (and EKL once the EKL branch is electrified)
GLQ to ALO, CUB and FKG
380 - guard opens and closes
385 - driver opens, guard closes
