Everyone over here saying not to worry about it taking long, but I'm here shocked at how quickly you made it. You made multiple guardians, have insane attention to detail and the scale is huge. I don't think you took long at all, I think your talent allowed you to complete it so quickly. It's an absolute masterpiece.

When you showed all four of the shrines together, I was pretty shocked and amazed. You worry about what others think that if you've just been sleeping, you're yourself, you've got your own personal life and we all understand that it takes time to make the things you love. We all love your work and if it takes a long time to upload, then that's okay. Awesome work!

I think I've said this before, but you don't need to apologize for getting videos out 'late'. Especially since it would probably take you half the time if you didn't have to film it all. You're going out of your way to make this video, and we appreciate it, no matter how long it takes to make. It just shows how good you want your stuff to turn out, since you're taking so much time to pay attention to the minute details. And it amazes us each time.

exactly i do resin and painting abit on the side even tho my main interest is silversmithing but seeing other people's work especially when it is this good is a privilege not a right no one is entitled to you taking the time to make these things but he does film it all anyway so people can see his work he can be as fast or slow as he wants in my opinon.

Even the mistakes are worth the wait. I'm glad you decided to share them with us as well. There is beauty in them, even if it isn't exactly what you picture. A dying guardian, the water heating and things being lost. It's almost a statement of the world around us. I think these would be worth finishing in a different way even. Experimenting and seeing what else you can do.
Thank you for sharing this with us. You haven't let anyone down at all.

That's an excellent way to interpret it, what with disastrous global warming: The world's oceans are warming up (to give a recent example, California just had a hurricane, and this part of the Pacific has always been too cold to sustain one, until recently), so the guardians are dying, which means they can't protect anything or anyone as well as in the past.

I may not know how to make such beautiful dioramas, but I do know that they take time. A lot of it. So I do not worry about you not uploading for a long time. You upload when your creation is finished and that is that. I also know that failure is just around the corner. It's so incredibly difficult. I can't even begin to imagine just how much effort goes into every single piece, trying to not make even the slightest mistake. And how devastating it is when it fails. Still. Dude, that shrine guardian was the first video of you that I found, no shame in getting better, don' lament the past in that regard.
I've still got the first HG I build and "painted" with markers that my sister brought from across the world, standing behind it is a MG variant of the same kit fully airbrushed, panel lined (even a couple of custom ones) and decalled.
Every time I look at them I smile because of the journey.
I'm still planning on making a diorama and using some of the techniques that you show.

All of your work is well worth the wait, and no matter what you think of your older pieces- they are gorgeous too. Works like this take time and a careful hand, and you show that in all you do. Your original is beautiful and charming, and these pieces show how your skills have been built since then. Think not of your past work as 'not well done', but as a marker in your skills that you have climbed past. We ALL start somewhere and our skillsets will vary over time and practice. You are a phenomenal crafter, and I want to say thank you for all that you do. We always look forward to your videos, and the wait is what makes it all the better.

Artists are our own worst critics. These are skillfully made and beautifully detailed. A good way to make sure your supports aren't visible is to pour the resin to whatever the minimum height you need that will support the weight for the guardian when cured. Then, you can remove all the supports and finish the pour. It requires a bit of precision with any color you add, but that's not too hard to measure. Man, I wish I could try to do even a small diorama like these but supplies are so damn expensive!

I like the way the bubbles came out, near the rocks supporting the shrine, and the ripply effect they have on the "underwater" portion of the resin. I have to say, those accidental bubbles trapped in the moss on the rocks are stunning to me. I never understand when people doing an underwater style project get worried about the bubbles in the resin. It brings life. There would be bubbles with creatures moving around. I love how it looks. Is there a fear of structure with the air bubbles that I'm ignorant of or is it purely a visual choice?

    たらそほびやさんの高い技術水準からすれば「失敗」でも、
    素人の自分が見ると十分美しい作品です。
    でも、妥協を許さないからこそ圧倒的に素晴らしい作品群を生み出してこられてるのですものね。👏👏👏

Oh my goodness these "failures" are some of the best pieces I've ever seen. You're amazing

don't you dare apologize for taking time to make these masterpieces. to be honest, I actually LIKE not seeing a new video from you in a long time, because I know the longer it takes to make, the more amazing it is. sure, it means youtube is slow af to tell me you have a new video out making me a damn THIRTEEN days late, but the diorama you remade was one of my favorites, and I can already see you made it a million times better. this was worth every single second of wait. and I'm so glad you persevered and didn't let such a major setback stop you from completing your goal. I morn those two failed pieces with you, but I'm so glad you never gave up💕

Amazing art! An exquisite job. I really envy you skills. And don't be shame, that the final result it's amazing. The bubbles in the resin makes a perfect effect for the water. Impresive job.

Can only agree with others that it's worth the wait.

I'm blown away by the fins of the guardian, they make it look so dynamic and alive

  • @jeremied7945

Bro I swear it's not messed up at all. For me it is even more logical there's bubbles in the water it brings movement and action to your piece and it makes it alive I swear. Even the guardian turning a bit yellow, it's really good because we can imagine that depending on the light in a very clear water like it is of course a big fish like this might appear yellowish gloomy. I swear it's even better man.

Look back on your previous works not as failures, but as steps to how far your talent has grown and will continue to grow. They are each a step in your journey and you should be proud of them.
Plus it doesn't hurt they've all been stunning works of art, we're just blessed to get to watch your journey as you continue making them.

Such beautiful work !!! I'm glad I've waited 8 months to see this, it's magical and just wow !!! 😁😁😁
You have golden hands and a magnificent talent, I've always admired it ! ♡
Don't be too hard on yourself and on the mistakes you can make, I understand the frustration that you felt but it's part of the process sadly. But it a good reminder that we make mistakes and even if there are consequences, it's just a way to better ourselves!

Don't be so hard on yourself! We all have wonderful beautiful accomplishments but we all fail too. Failures help in moving us forward. I love your creations and attention to detail. Go wallow in your sadness then come back stronger................Now, it's time to stop the crying, pick yourself up and on to part 2.😍By the way, the fins are so breathtaking. So delicate.

Thalasso, I know I can not speak for everyone on this app, but you have never disappointed me. In fact you consistently surpass any expectation I could ever have. The attention to detail, the time and soul you put into your work, it's outstanding. You take your time in your craft, something a lot of people don't do, and that time and effort shows. The fact that you are willing to share this creativity and part of yourself with the world is really brave, an its something that I admire. I love your work as an artist and I watching the work you make. It is truly a pleasure to be subscribed to you.

No matter how long the wait, your videos are always worth it. Doing four dioramas at once is a huge amount of work, and as always it's beautiful work. Whenever I watch your videos I can't multitask because your work deserves undivided attention.
