Cool flip-thru. My favorite page is the page you liked too w/ the books. My second favorite is the girl w/ the hair flowing down the castle. Great book.
Karen 💖 You’re so welcome! I do love this book but I was reminded of the pages I wasn’t fond of…Like the one with all the tiny lines, made my eyes hurt too…lol. Two of my favorite pages were the castle on a book and the page you said reminded you of Colin Thompson’s book, I can definitely see that…lol. The very newest books no longer have the hidden objects but they never bothered me because I would just color them the same color as was around them…In the future I’m going to learn how to upload a page on my procreate app and remove items or lessen thick lines, anything else I don’t care for and I would be happy to do that for you also…lol. It looks like you’re home, you sound tired my friend, I hope you can get some rest. I’m so sorry for rambling, I missed you…lol. Thank you so much for the flip through 💖💖💖

I feel like coloring something and i actually have this book. I was going to color along when i saw the thumbnail but my goodness the flip has pages that will take forever so i was secretly pleased that you didnt choose one. I think i will find something easier like the pretty circular title page of Minuet de Bonheur or i will search for something else you have colored in a book i actually have. I love the illustrations in this book. How are you going to deal with those “hidden” objects? I hate them because there are way too many of them on each page and they have nothing to do with the theme of the page. I am so glad that they stopped adding them in the last two books of the mythographic series.
for the most part I will just color over them and blend them into the page
